a poor perimeter shooting team, and is as erratic as it gets.  Their best scorers are a freshman (Tobias Harris - 6'8") and a guard (6'7" Scotty Hopson).  Harris is also their leading rebounder.  Interesting to see who will match up with Hopson, as he can go on the block and post up effectively.  Morris gives away 4 inches, but may be quicker.  Hopson, though, shoots 40% from the 3, which would make him our best 3-point shooter.  No wonder he averages 19 ppg.

Tough match-up.  Rebound.  Rebound.  Rebound.  And get to the basket.

THANK GOD Kyrie Irving is still on the bench. Nolan Smith and Seth Curry will be tough enough to guard alone.

*fingers crossed that we beat Tenn first, of course*

That Idiot is spot on. Belmont only lost 4 games all season 3 to SEC teams on their floor and one against the school that is 5 miles from their campus in conference. I saw them play live against  East Tennessee State. They go ten deep they have huge white guys and about 6 guys that can drain 3's all day long. They will be a matchup nightmare for Wiscy and I also think they'll beat them.

I just ran into my front yard screaming,  Yessss !!!!!!! here in Kingsport, Tn. C'mon Wolverines you must win it and help me put a stop to all the damn Peyton Manning should have won the Heisman in 1997 crap. Make the SEC pay !!!!!!

When they played UT (as in "you can't spell 'guilty' without UT) in football a few years ago, Michigan saw it as a bowl game while UT saw it as a bitter rivalry game.  Hopefully, Michigan will be aware of how much UT still hates them for "stealing Peyton Manning's Heisman."

They forget that the only reason Michigan had to share the MNC during Woodson's Heisman year was because Manning laid down and died against Nebraska, helping make Osborne's plea for the sympathy vote effective.

This argument works better down there as "If Manning deserved the Heisman, he wouldn't have quit in the bowl game against Nebraska."

Oh, man. We got overseeded and I don't like it. Duke is not a good match up for us. I think we can take care of Tennessee but Duke? I dunno know..unless, Duke loses to a 16th seed haha

Who got it done this year.  We did not get the most favorable venue, but this team will fight to the end and make us proud.

It is Great to be a Michigan Wolverine!!!!!

Colorado bites the big one. Little surprised with the Last Four In but all of them teams under consideration were pretty bad.

Colorado the big surprise though. I had them as a lock.

season if we win vs. Tennessee and then lose to Duke.  Even a loss to Tennessee is not a season-breaker.  While I was wrong on the Maize and Blue making the NCAA (and Tressel lying), our boys have to prove they can beat a good team.

Tennessee is NOT a good team, so M has to take care of business.  Then...yeah.  Not a good draw.  Beating Duke would be the biggest upset in Michigan basketball history.  Match-up nightmare everywhere.

Enough to worry about with the Volunteers, first.

If i were a Recruit... the Michigan viewing party looked the most fun!  A loud Crisler, with the team sitting courtside in comfortable lounge chairs... looking like celebrities.

Who are really big and/or those who shoot the 3 really well. Tennessee is not a huge team and they do not appear to shoot the ball well. They have some bad losses including College of Charleston, and Charlotte, and they were beaten by Oakland at home. I think we should be able to take care of business against them. If we get to Duke, that is another story.

Just looked up tickets for all the 2nd and 3rd round sites and the games in Charlotte are listed as 12:00 & 6:00 P.M.  I am pulling for the 6PM start!

EDIT:  Forgot there are 2 games from the East region too in Charlotte
