Submitted by winterblue75 on

Hopefully over the next few days/weeks Brian lets us know some of the insider info he had but couldn't make public. He tweeted this out a bit ago

Harbaugh took the Michigan job on December 22nd. It is over. It has been over. NFL reporters continue to make fools of themselves.

I still won't be at ease until it's officially announced by JH or UofM. I just can't believe something is finally going our way. I've been let down too many times over the years, lol.

It would be interesting to see if there are any good MGoBoard mentions in any book that is written about this search. I bet our own insanity / insecurity could fill a few chapters alone.

I am starting to get the feeling that Schefter will show up at the presser tomorrow, but only because his sources told him that Mark Davis plans to come disguised as a potted fern and will - at some moment in between questions - have an assistant wheel in a vault of money that has "Oakland Welcomes You" painted on one side.

still saying "IF".  one guy said "hail to the victors if they get him".  another guy said "fail to the victors if they don't".  JH has to be on the plane by now.

there will be an MGoQuestion at Harbaugh's introductory presser to the effect of:

"Coach Harbaugh, when exactly did you accept this job"?  Or "Could you explain your reasons for wanting to return to Michigan over staying in the NFL"?

I mean, Jim doesn't care if he makes the NFL reporters look foolish, does he?

Adam Schefter has always come across as a bit too arrogant, too smug and disingenious, since the first time I saw him about 7 or 8 years ago on the NFL Network.  I never cared to see his face and listen to his speil.  Over the years, I tried to give him a benefit of a doubt, and at times he did show some value as a reporter in the field.  With this Michigan and Harbaugh deal however, he revealed his true colors once again.  The guy is a spin doctor, whether he realizes it or not, and his opinion/reports do not inspire trust in me.
