Brian or Seth: HTTV question
I did a search for this and came up with nothing so I thought I would start a thread so I could get feedback from fellow posters and hopefully Brian or Seth.
I am wondering when we would expect our copies of the HTTV magazine if we funded the kickstarter? I ask because I am a little worried that I may have missed out on receiving the email that requested our mailing address (like I did last year) and therefore would end up waiting until mid August to get my copy (again, like I did last year).
I guess what I am wondering is whether anyone has received that email and if Brian or Seth could give us a little update as to where things stand in regards to the expected dates we should see them in the mail. Another reason I am slightly worried I missed something is because I thought the original date that was put forward for either shipping or delivery was July 3rd and not having received the request for my address yet, I was thinking I missed something.
I'm sorry if I seem impatient, I just don't want to miss something like I did last year and end up getting my copy a month and a half late. Any updates would be appreciated.
or your deleted folder
Check the email address that you associated with your Kickstarter account for an email from "<[email protected]>" sent on June 16, 2013 (at least for me -- perhaps different award levels were emailed on different dates).
Also, you should really learn how to use email /s
wash, I'd say. Can't wait till their fall issue.
only get the swimsuit edition.
That doll is frightening. I personally liked the 2013 first edition of Art Doll Quarterly the best. It had a nice spread on "Dolls of the SEC".
Also: I received my HTTV email last week, I think. I ordered the books + t-shirt.
However I still have a problem in that I have not received the email. I checked my filter and even went back through my deleted items and I have nothing from kickstarter since the email informing that I would be contacted in the future regarding my address. Brian or Seth: Could we get this straigtened out quickly so I can get my copy along with everyone else and not have to wait until mid august like last year? I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just really looking forward to the magazine. Well that and I don't want to get stuck with an issue of Art Doll Quarterly.
You should probably email them directly. Click the contact link at the top of the page. They're pretty good about getting back with you.
it didn't work.
I honestly believe you don't know how to use email. It's not personal, it's just the vibe you are giving off.
Would YOU be able to send/check email on this:
I think he deserves some slack here.
dude, that is hilarious! I do have to say for the record though...We aren't quite THAT far behind up here in Canada. I mean, we did get touch tone phones here last year.
I have no problem using email. The poster said to click the contact button at the top of the screen and email them directly. I did that last year and got no response. Also, if a guy knows how to check his spam filter, search his deleted items (and find emails from kickstarter, none of which were the one requesting my address) how does that give off a vibe that I don't know how to use it? Honest question, I'm interested.
Being a dick
You should have received an email, and then some people got an email from me yesterday if they were ordering just books (UGP is handling all the orders that include shirts and signage and whatnot).
Email me -- [my name] @ [this site].com and I'll see if we can get you sorted out.
I also received an email on 6/16.
You should just move to the U.S. I see no other viable alternative.
But many things would be a lot easier if I did. I love the USA and very much enjoy visits to your wonderful country, but I am Canadian through and through and would have a very hard time leaving my Country for any reason. I love Canada!
Having said that...if a really good job offer came up in A2 I would be hard pressed not to take that on. Being able to watch games live at the Big House would be a dream come true!
If you wanted to trade citizenship, maybe we could figure something out.
I'm not joking (but am embarassed) when I say that I had no idea Windsor was that close to AA.If my entire family didn't live within 10 minutes of each other (well all except that older sister of mine that no one likes...j/k) I would serious contemplate moving. I'll say this though...if my family members start moving abroad Windsor will be the place I'll look up first.
Where Canada is south of the US.

I'm going to give you a +1 informative for that one M-Wolverine. Not that I don't find many of your posts enlightening, but here you taught me something I didn't know about my own Country :s
Missing out on the Windsor Ballet would be a real shame.
Does anyone know when they will be shipped out? I searched the blog and came up empty.
You'll definitely be able to get them from the MGoBlog store once they ship in mid-July, the football ones that is. I believe it is September for the hockey and basketball preview too. According to the site, you can pre-order them over there. If I recall correctly, a limited number of copies were available at the UGP store in Ann Arbor (where the release party was) as well, so there is also that option if you're local.
You can preorder using the ad on the top right (maybe whitelist MGoBlog on adblock?), and they'll be in UGP stores and Moe's. We're working on further distribution.
