Brian Kelly could make an omelet!

mmm, the taste of jilted hate. Rich Rod knows it well.

Come on, Cincy, show that you're better than WV. It's not that hard.

Sounds like Kelly is taking it in stride, couldn't be happier

Is it just me, or do you feel a rekindled rivalry in the works?

guarded optimism, that ND will never lose to UM again :)

At least Cincy fans didn't threaten his family. I'm pretty die-hard but these fans need to get a life...tell 'em RR!

Yes, the mob at Morgantown Torch & Pitchfork & Jerky Outlet have set that bar very low.

because they need to pay their coaches well (head & assistants), invest in facilities, and invest in football or any rational coach will leave.
What is the coach (Kelly or RR) supposed to say. How about, "I'll turn down millions of dollars more, a shot at the national title, and doubling the salaries of my assistants, to stay at Cincy (WVU)".
That statement is insane.

I've posted this before, and in no way is this an argument for why Kelly shouldn't have left, because it was the right move for him, but since he arrived, here is what UC has done:
1. Given him raises and contract extensions after each of the first two years;
2. Offered him the biggest raise they could after this year;
3. Planned 25,000 square feet of practice space, one covered by a "bubble" on a completely landlocked campus, which will be ready for next fall (supposedly);
4. Planned to expand Nippert Stadium.
Now one can argue that they should have done all of this already to ensure that someone like Kelly would stick around, but that's different from arguing that they haven't done anything (which, to be fair, isn't completely what jblaze was saying, but still...)

I've rooted against Notre Dame since before I was born, but I like Kelly due to his GVSU roots, so it will be hard for me to root against the Irish when they don't play Michigan. I actually hope they both return to old form so that there are national incentives riding on the game every year.
