Brian @ Bucknuts; no comments this week
Let me preface this post with, is this the same "Brian" that posts here? I don't even know who this guy identifying as "Brian" really is, still.

I always go read Brian's stuff because, well, it's Brian, and he's, well, a pretty good writer, man. However, the masochist in me always decides to read the comments as well (and every time I do, I am reminded of how thankful I am to be a Michigan fan).
With that said, what's with the crickets chirping? Did the site's viewers decide to protest Brian's writing by boycotting it? Or is that kind of organization too complicated for them? This article has under 1000 hits, which - checking out his other posts, I now see a trend. The articles where bashing is easy get more hits. Huh. Go figure.

There’s a big PPV Wrestlin marathon distracting them. They’ll get back to not understanding Brian’s posts shortly.

I think they've turned comments off for his columns. I haven't seen any comments on them for a few weeks, though I could be wrong.

hmm. articles meant to incite a fan base generate hits to your website? does anyone have the phone number for the free press? i've got a great marketing idea for them!

The index page shows over 1100 hits on Brian's latest entry. I think they want you to register before reading comments and posting. If you want real insight into the mentality of buckeye fans down here, read the entries written by local media airhead, Mindy Drayer. An exerpt from an entry about her vacation to North Carolina:
"I would just die if we traveled all the way down to Topsail Island to end up having neighbors from that state up north!!!"
Yeah, so there's that... Can't wait to see her head asplode when the bucks drop one to Michigan.

I saw that yesterday and thought it was pretty interesting.
Usually the same bozo's stop by to say what a boring read it was and how they don't care about "scUM"....but pretty quiet this week. WEAK.
