As the first thread was based on a tweet, but now there is confirmation literally everywhere (except perhaps among those among the OSU faithful who may not yet know, so the one dude), we'll let this thread serve as the primary outlet for news on Braxton Miller's injury. It's a fuzzy line on the blog really, but it is big news and probably wasn't going to ever be contained in a single thread. This thread, however, shall stand as the last one for now to ensure there is room for other news.

As someone who lives near Annapolis (and thus root for the Middies every chance I can get), the Goat should indeed be feared.  Coach Niumatalolo has been on a tear since he took over; 4 Commander-In-Chief trophies, 5 bowls (two wins), 2 leprechaun scalps (Haha!), including at ND for the first time in a billion years.

And oh yes, extending the Navy winning streak against Army to 12 games.

I realize this is probably happening, but it isn't "official" until OSU releases a statement. People keep saying "official", when it really isn't. I know I'm splitting hairs here, but still. You may want to edit the title.

Did you hear that Braxton Miller, the starting quarterback for Ohio State University's football team, hurt his shoulder and might be out for the season? This seems like it could have an effect on our football team here at the University of Michigan. Does anyone want to speculate about it on this site with me?

This actually maybe puts more pressure on UM to win this season because what would it be like if we didn't........?

Given the state of the Fort and the number of times Hoke says someone has a boo-boo, can we really criticize Meyer for being less than forthcoming on the injury status of his starting QB during the offseason?

it's only requiring final certification from that official source. Look, if there was better news, it would have been made public this morning. When that didn't happen, you knew it was season-ending and who knows, potentially worse. The fan base was already bracing for the worse. But even the blog knew that the staff was hiding the real deal information on Miller's status and actual condition.

I mean this was insinuated in every account about Miller's health in that blog. So Meyer is going to have to fess up for that at some point because questions are going to be raised about it.
