Braxton Miller hurt

Submitted by The Baughz on
Looked like it was a knee or ankle. Needed help walking off field. It did not look good. Nebraska is on somewhat of a roll now. This game has just become very interesting.

That's pretty little brotherish, especially since we all blasted Dantonio for saying the same thing.  This situation where one would need to root for Ohio for Michigan to gain position is pretty rare anyway since it's both of our last games, but if an Ohio win directly benefited us while we didn't control our destiny, then I would certianly root for them.

I'm not saying that this situation applies as since Michigan is undefeated, we control our own destiny.  But if an 08 situation somehow arose(where from MSU's perspective a UM win would have put a Rose Bowl berth in their control), I sure as heck would root for whatever gives us the best possible result.

As long as Michigan is the one putting on the loss.

I would not root fot Ohio, period. Would I be upset if they won, and we got the title nod? No. But that doesn't mean I'm going to root for them, ever. I would not watch the game, and accept the consequences. It makes me feel dirty. I don't want to feel dirty.

I'm sorry. I'd be glad for the outcome. But I can't sit and watch a game and cheer when braxton miller runs for a 80-yd touchdown. Call me crazy, neg away. But that's never going to change. I'm not an SEC fan and I never will be.

Michigan going to the title is what's best for Michigan. You wouldn't root for that, so apparently you're the best Michigan fan around? That makes you an SEC fan, how?

Call me crazy, but I want to see Michigan in the best position to win championships, get top recruits, sell jerseys (lol) and vanquish hated rivals. I don't think you "get it" if you won't root for OSU to help Michigan do any of those things. There's literally no question about what helps Michigan, so I would classify that attitude as more of an OSU hater than a UM supporter (and if that's the case, that's fine. No argument 99% of the time, I hate them too).

FWIW, I had a very similar looking injury last year. I tried to plant and rolled over my ankle. I could hear/feel a bunch of rapid popping sensations in my ankle, like breaking raw pasta. I was able to play another 15 minutes of the game, but once we had it in the bag, I pulled myself out. The next day, I planted my foot on the ground to get out of bed and go to work and immediately hopped on one foot to my phone to call off. I wasn't able to walk on it at all for 2-3 days, and had a noticeable limp for over 2 weeks.  I wasn't fully healed for a few months, and that was without any activity on it.

And no, I'm not a doctor. I didn't even play one on TV or stay at a Holiday Inn Express. But fo' real, that was the same injury...

Hate to see a kid get hurt, even if it is a Buckeye. Wouldn't mind if he was out for the OSU-UM game though. Bauserman. Yes please.

<br>Looks he's back in so probably just a sprain.

they actually figured out how to use him and now back to Bauserman. Tough break, although ankle injury is better than knee.

He had to punt.  It was the only logical choice.  It was 4th and 13 or 14 at the Nebraska 35 or so.  His choices were to kick a 50+ yard field goal, or go for it on 4th and long or punt.

And punting turned out to be the best option.  They pinned Nebraska back inside the 10 yard line.

Fickell may have made some mistakes this game but this was not one of them.

Martinez was calling for a face mask penalty as he was still running. Ira w tells me to not root for Nebraska but I'm taking pleasure either way.
