I'm now convinced that David Brandon might be the most epic AD in the history of ADs. I thought the same thing while I was watching that video. I think if he wanted to require Michigan (but no other team in the country) to have NFL cheerleaders present at every game to entertain new recruits, he could have that rule instituted.

I'm curious about how calloused the back of his hands are. I haven't been able to determine that from the press conference videos, but it must look like he's wearing leather gloves 100% of the time.

I heard Dave Brandon earlier today on "The Sean & Terp" show. I was ready to run through a wall for Michigan football after listening to him. I have eternal faith in the pimp hand of Dave Brandon.

1. Sean and Terp don't deserve to have David Brandon on their show. It's awful.

2. Did you catch the part where David Brandon mentioned that they're giving out commemorative pins to EVERYONE THAT ATTENDS THE GAME!? I've never been so excited for a pin in my life.

Just ignore the idiotic blatherings of Baligian and that show is pretty good.  Unfortunately, that means you have to ignore 95% of its content.  When Terp actually gets a chance to talk, I find it entertaining.

Seriously, though, Terp needs to get off that show if he ever wants to move up in the radio world.  Baligian never fricking shuts up.  I've literally listened for five minute stretches and never heard Terp's voice, because that endless windbag Baligian won't shut his goddamn trap.  How many different ways can you make the same point or repeat the same thing?  I'm pretty sure he has the world record.

I want me some UM-Bama at Jerry World.  Come on DB you can do it!  I've got the president of the 'Bama DFW chapter on it (not that it really matters but at least it's something).

I just don't think it can be done.

As a saxophone player, the woodwinds, and the overall instrumentation of the band, are near and dear to my heart.  But there's just no comparing a 300 person marching BAND and a 300 person drum and bugle corps (all percussion and brass instruments, like OSU...) in terms of pure volume.

The combination of the instrumentation, the layout of the stadium, and the overall volume of the band makes it so it is very difficult for everyone to hear the band clearly.

I'm NOT suggesting that anything about the MMB be changed, just that it is not going to be easy to hear them from everywhere.  The mics and amplification should help with this quite a bit.
