That's an important one to keep and glad he's coming early. The QB compitition should be fun over the next 8 months and spring ball should be fun as well with all these QBs here and able to participate/play.

I fell into that current, I'll be honest.  It's easy to go with the flow.  But I had serious doubts as well.  I do not have those with Peters.  I think he will be an all-time great.  I am really excited.

Oh... and in case anyone thinks that I'm just saying this to seem intuitive or correct in hindsight - I really didn't want Denard Robinson to overtake Tate Forcier.  I will fully admit that I have a large capacity towards the dumb.

Yeah, I thought I'd get a few negs for people thinking I was being sarcastic, but that wasn't my point at all.

You hit it right on the head.  A lot of us, myself included, really bought into the 5* hype on Morris and thought that he was going to be a big part of the program turning the corner.  As we know, for various reasons that didn't pan out.

It's still worth remembering how much Shane did do for the program. He was absolutely vital to Hoke's recruiting that fist year or two. There's no way we had this year be as good as it was without what Shane accomplished.

So, do the rules specifically prevent the non-EEs from just going ahead and signing now?  Is there any justification for that?

Do the EEs just enroll without ever signing a letter of intent, and that's what's going on here?

Yeah, but the flipside is that it ensures some coach can't ask them to greyshirt or bump them out of the class at the last minute.  Seems like if both parties want to lock it in early (and get all of the other coaches/recruiters off the player's back), why not allow it?
