Submitted by Never on

Huge rankings increase per 247 Sports:

"We've made a move in the rankings for Michigan quarterback commit Brandon Peters. The Avon (Ind.) High School signal-caller has been elevated in the 247Sports rankings to the No. 46 prospect in the country after his first two weeks of his senior season."

Gentry in '17 and '18

Peters in '19 and '20

I am not sure what to say about Morris and Malzone, it would be sad that two Detroit-area blue chips may never start for UM.

On a related note I think Viramontes' future is as a Gerhart-like running back or H-back, or linebacker. He could be a STAR at linebacker or safety.

He's 18 spots away from 5-star status (Not that stars matter. And by that, I mean they absolutely do matter. Not to me. But to other people. Not really though. But sort of.

Rankings catching up to Harbaugh scouting, just like JB's eyes for talent. It's obvious to watch Peters though. Kid has top end QB skills and size, plus great athleticism for a pocket passer. He could really be Jim's Luck at Michigan if he gets the right team around him (which he will).

I'm impressed with what Harbaugh has been able to do with this recruiting class. I'm very excited about how he will be able to recruit once there is success on the field.

I love how he passed KJ Costello. I know some people took that hard and viewed Peters as the backup plan to Costello. It's nice to see Peters in front of Costello in the rating now.

This guy is going to be a stud here. With O'Korn and possibly Gentry in the wings, we should be finally set for a while at QB. Gone are the days hopefully where Russell Bellomy is our 2nd best option

That game on Friday was really exciting (Chris Evans contributed some late game fireworks too). It's easy to see why he is so highly ranked. Good for him.

Peters is putting up some nice numbers.  With some coaching from Harbaugh, he's going to be a very good quarterback at Michigan.

Also, Chris Evans has a pretty nice TD run at the 1:41 mark in this video:

I like the way Evans slowed it up and put that sick move to slide into the endzone. Also, after hearing Peters threw a pick 6 for the winning score (kinda downer) and THEN finally seeing tape of it, its all good. He got blasted as he threw, not his fault at all. We have someone special here people and Im hella excited for the future!!!!!.....3 more days!!!!!

But for the University of Michigan. I firmly believe we have the best two coaches in the country for their sport.

Meyer and OSU is a EXCELLENT fit and Coach K and Duke is obviously an EXCELLENT fit...but that's it. I'll take Harbaugh and Beilein, for Michigan, over any other coaches in their sport, PERIOD.

In my fantasy draft of picking coaches...and I'm Michigan and I have the #1 pick...I'm taking Harbaugh #1 for football and Beilein #1 for basketball.

It should be added that Michigan has moved up to #6 overall in the team rankings, above State and Bama!

Of course, this is just a snap shot, but the coaching staff has done work.
