Brandon Herron
From Scout--it's been on the board for awhile and this isn't really some sort of Top Secret Info so here ya go:
Brandon Herron sports these boner-inducing stats (and he has been getting muc love as a playmaker thus far in fall camp):
6'2, 235
38" Vertical (almost as impressive as my 1.5" Vertical)
435 lbs Bench
26 reps at 225
4.48-40 yard time
I need a cigarette after posting this.

I've heard he's a physical freak, but we've never really seen him on the field. He seems to have locked up the Quick position early on in the spring, so he must have been doing something right. He made Evans transfer and he's relegated Watson to an afterafterthought.

I give trhat 40 3 fakes out of 5, but it would probably still be in the mid 4.5 which is great speed from the LB position. Im eager to see how his athleticism will translate to the field in 18 days.

That would be a team timed thing, though. This isn't from his recruiting profile or anything.

So was Pryor's 4.33. Do you trust that time? The only 40 times I trust are the ones at the combine.

I'm just not going to really give a fuck worrying about whether the times are truthful or not, being as I wasn't there, and don't really, uh, give a fuck.
When you have a source that gives a different time, and it is reputable, go ahead and post it.

I don't know who to trust anymore :(

Who'll be the first kid to claim to run it in 4 flat?
August 18th, 2009 at 7:54 PM ^
I agree with the 3/5 fakeness rating. At least they aren't claiming that he can run a 4.33.
August 18th, 2009 at 7:55 PM ^
... now that's a number that gets me giddy.

Here's to hoping he's our best kept secret.

Dear God, please let Brandon Herron not even remember who Carson Butler is so that he may never turn out like him in any way, shape, or form.
BOOM JESUS'D

Sounds like he could be a beast out there. Here's to hoping.

sounds like a kid who should thrive on RR's team.

Same kind of early praise as an up and coming safety, pray that he goes a different direction
August 18th, 2009 at 9:27 PM ^
With our new S&C program and no-nonsense coaching staff, I don't think he'll have a choice.
August 18th, 2009 at 10:12 PM ^
He is not and has never been a safety.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:03 PM ^
Impressive, hopefully that great athletisicism can translate good unto the football field.

I would love to see a player on D have a surprise breakout year. Go Blue!

pre-Barwis?!?! Eeeeeeeeeeee!!!
August 19th, 2009 at 5:05 AM ^
They are from NOW. Post Barwis. Shit, in another year, he'll beat Usain Bolt in a foot race and benchpress Oprah Winfrey.

He'll beat Usain Bolt WHILE benchpressing Oprah Winfrey.
