He's really not a bust since he was hurt.  Before he got hurt, people were saying he might be the defensive ROY.  Give him more than one injury-riddled year before you call him a bust.

There is no way he ends his career with that label. The kid is waay too talented and determined for that. I say BG makes at least 4 Pro Bowls before his career is over with this year being the first.

He isn't a bust; he has been unproductive if anything. You are a bust when you finish your career without having done anything meaningful or you have finished most of your career without having accomplished much. It is his third season in the nfl. He had a solid rookie season followed by a limited second season due to an acl tear 3/4 of the way through his rookie season. Even if he can rehab that in 6 months he loses his entire offseason and preseason. Then a guy who still isn't at nfl size as he was a rookie has to try to get fully functional and in shape during the season. Makes it difficult. Tell Philly to relax and stop being crazy in general. If Jason Pierre-Paul tore his acl he would be a "bust" too.

If he hasnt produced for the team that drafted him then he is a bust as far as that team is concerned. If he moves on and makes 10 pro bowls for another team, it still does not excuse the fact that he did nothing for Philly. Philly fans do not know this man's heart and desire to succeed like we do so they are probably more willing to give up on him. We all know BG will be fine whether in Philly or not.

Do you watch the NFL? Players are no longer given the time to develop. Colt McCoy is being replaced already and in 1 season Blain Gabbert is getting ran out of Jacksonville. Without guaranteed contracts clubs are allowed to cut bait without delay. Trust me, if BG does not produce this year, he will be looking for a new team and any top 10 pick thats cut after 3 years is a bust injuries or not. Am I wrong?

Yes, you are. Great way to finish an argument asking the proverbial "am I wrong." First off, BG was not a top 10 pick, he was 13, so your argument does not apply to him. Secondly, he had a solid rookie season until the acl tear so he had done something. Second, he missed most of his second season due to injury. If he does nothing this year then I can see how Philly might want to mov him, but he is not a bust after being able to play 2 and 1/3 seasons. The label bust comes when you have finished your career without any meaningful accomplishment. BG has plenty of time to get things moving. Just because the NFL and its fans expect more out of you quicker doesn't change the definition of the word bust. It's bad luck, it's unproductively, but not a bust.

No, what I am saying is that it is a fundamental fact that more players than not are unproductive in the NFL. Granted BG has higher expectations due to were he was drafted, but not even most 1st round picks are as successful as people expect them to be. Being unproductive is a fundamental part of playing as failure is a fundamental part of life. If BG is unproductive over the next 5 to 10 years then he is a bust. What is ridiculous about your comments are that you are arguing a guy that had only been in the league two years with one season lost to injury is a bust. Too soon. Come back with this argument in 5 years. Sidenote: just because Philly fans and nfl fans in general expect immediate returns on their investments doesn't change the definition of the word bust. They/you just start misusing it.

Babin and Cole are playing really well. Like it or not, most people who aren't michigan fans think that B Graham, at the least, needs to show he isn't a bust this year.

Its just the way it is in this instant gratification society.

He probably didn't help matters when he admitted that he put on 20 pounds when he was hurt purely from eating cheesesteaks.

Bro Mouzone; just gotta say I'm a huge wire fan.  but as a philly fan wouldn't it make more sense to do a weebay or even a d'angelo reference?

People still label Ki-Jana Carter a bust even though his career was completely altered by a torn ligament in a knew, so I understand people calling Graham a bust. Fair? No. But fans rarely are, especially in Philly.

Of course there are a lot of moron Philly fans as there are in every city. I would say we're just extremely passionate about our teams. The national media overplays the behavior of the fans because they have no clue. They still bring up things that happened in the 70s and 80s at the Vet. I don't think we're any worse than most cities. Just overly passionate and a bit impatient. For the record I'm not one of those people who thinks he's a bust. I've seen every game he's played college and pro and know what the guy can do. And Dion you're right it's about time I change to a new Wire reference. Best show ever by the way.

DO they have a court at the stadium???In the old Stadium they had one, no shitting. SIlverdome nor Ford Field has one, even though some Lion fans are crazy drunks.. Just asking question

He'll probably get passed by Vinny Curry now in the DE rotation to. What really pisses Eagles fans off to is that we know we needed a DE or S in that draft so when we traded we thought we were gonna get JPP or Earl Thomas. Seeing those to excel while BG hasn't done anything pisses a lot of people off. The hostility should be towards the GM and front office but since he was chosen above those guys he is always gonna be compared to them.

BG is a warrior and has the heart of a lion. I'm not worried about him bouncing back. If anything I want people to continue to fuel his fire.
