Brandon Graham and Family

Submitted by Mattinboots on
The tailgate I am a part of is right along the service road in the East parking lot near where the busses drop the players off for the Victors Walk. A decent number of players also walk past our tailgate post-game. Brandon Graham and his family walked past after the ND game. Brandon shook hands and gave hugs to everyone. Biggest smile on his face and seemed truly happy and willing to stop and say hello to fans. He is easily one of the nicest people I have ever seen when interacting with fans (saw him at Fan Day and after the Western game as well. Our tailgate is in an awesome player spotting location). His parents also stopped and spoke with us for a few minutes. Needless to say they are proud of their son. But when we congratulated them after the game, their response was along the lines of, "No, thank you and all of the fans. This is why he stayed." Talk about a way to cap off the day.

I too was at the same tailgate with Mattinboots and to add to his story as they were walking by all we did was put out our hands for a hand shake and say Great game Brandon and Brandon and his family stopped and talked with our tailgate for about 10 mins. Stand up guy and great family.

but this kid could've been playing somewhere in the NFL this year. Instead, he chose to come back to a team that was 3-9 and starting a freshman QB. If you get the chance to meet him or listen to him talk, you'll see what separates Michigan from other schools. He's part of a family of kids, men, who've done nothing but exude class and make us proud for generations now. Thanks for posting this Mat. I love hearing reinforcement that the team we live and die with is filled with great people.

My friends little cousin stayed after the game near the locker room to get autographs. It was after the Illinois game, and Brandon Graham came out and got swamped. I was impressed, because he literally stood there and signed for every single little kid. He was there easily an hour. Meanwhile, his parents were talking to fans and joking around with them. From what I have seen and heard, they are a great family.

NTwo years ago at the Women's Football Academy, when families were aLlowed in Brandon Graham could not have been any nicer my small children. He signed autographs and chatted with us. This year at Fan Day he was the same way. We are very fortunate to have him back as a senior for not only his playing ability, but also his attitude. I hope he has a long and successful NFL career. EDIT: sorry it posted so many times. I typed this on my phone and it went haywire!

BG loves Michigan. He loves the school, the fans, his teammates, and he has embraced Coach Rodriguez to the fullest. When the Free Press allegationsn came out, it pissed BG off. He loves everything about Michigan and hated that people thought they didnt like to practice. He's doing this for love. BG is a world class guy and he's getting drafted in the NFL late 1st-3rd round. Him and Woodley are All-Michigan kind of guys.
