Brady's Day 2 To-do List:

1)  Talk to Denard

2)  Re-talk to Denard

3)  Tell Denard you have an open-door policy

4)  Follow Denard around and let him know you are available if he has any questions or concerns

My buddy went in there early this morning, 6 am, and talked to Brady about a video coordinator or GA position. Has been a HS school defensive coordinator. He told Brady he would get him coffee, wash jockstraps or sweep the floor just to be a part of this. Brady laughed and took his resume. Said the guy couldnt have been nicer and was shorter and svelter in person than on camera. Hopefully, he gets a job.

Love that Denard was showcasing his abilities as a QB.  The part when he was in the middle of the student section at the bball game was pretty cool too. He just seems like he has a personality that all types of people gravitate towards.

There was obviously more than a little choreography there, but you'll have that.  I think Hoke is off to a great start.  The players seemed to react positively to him.

Ha -- tell that to RichRod.  He was the victim of innumerable "intangibles."

I agree that they're only part of the game, but if Hoke can get the players and fans on his side he'll have an easier time.  Do you think RichRod preferred having whiners like Kurt Wermers out there?

The last 3 years have been rough, but I have a feeling we are gonna be in for some good times ahead. Now that your first day is done Coach go get some recruits back on board with Michigan!!!!

I don't know if RR was that bad with the media and the general public or if Brady has a really special personality. I haven't been this motivated watching someone ever. I can see how he walks in a recruits house and gets his whole family to worship Michigan.

to the team when he was introduced to them that "We haven't won anything - you don't have to clap."  As much as he is being seen as the savior, it seems pretty clear that he is not letting it get to his head, and believing the PR hype.

EDIT: not unlike a certain QB on his team....

I wonder if theres any chance that having a likeable defensive minded guy could open things back up with Zettle.

That was a pretty cool shot at the end with the Maize Rage huddling around him.  Looks like (many of) the students are embracing him already.

I agree...keep a camera on him 24/7

This guy is the kind of person you want to move mountains for. I know there's a ton of negativity on this board right now, but I can't help being caught up in this new direction for our team. I hope they let the public in the Spring Game. Anybody heard whether it will be open to the public?

We're back to the old "win the Big 10!" thing. I guess that's a step up from "beat Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl!" but I remember thinking that the goal of a Big 10 championship was becoming provincial and antiquated starting around 10 years ago. Clearly that's a necessary first step to the National Championship, but I would like to hear the NC as a crucial goal on occasion too.

Can we get Michigan Replay back?  And the theme song.  Or just the theme song.

Other than the losing, the worst part of the last 3 years has been Inside Michigan Football.  I hated that show.  I can't even tell you why, might have had something to do with the losing.
