Brady Hoke?

Submitted by we the roses on

I hate this coaching talk as much as the next guy. At the same time, IF something happens, do you think Hoke would be on our list? Former D-Line coach when we won the championship and did an excellent job at Ball State and San Diego State. I would say this man would be on our short POTENTIAL list of candidates.

I think that he is a better choice than Mike Deboord. I honestly hope DB keeps RR or hires JH before Hoke. Its nothing against Hoke, but if the old alumni did not like RR, wait until Hoke comes aboard.

Brady Hoke took many, many years to do "an excellent job" at Ball State, and his best team wet its pants against a much worse Buffalo team in the championship game.  He can stay away from Michigan football.

Frankly, I'd rather have Chris Petersen, regular season loss or not, and I don't consider Chris Petersen an A-list candidate.  Most of all, I'd rather have a convincing bowl game win so we don't have to worry about this.

Harbaugh, only to have JH go to the 49ers instead, leaving Brady Hoke as the only viable alternative.

Hey, Lloyd Carr would call it "tremendous."

is Michigan Student to pop in and first tell us in a calm, rational manner that David Brandon has it all under control.  Then, 10 minutes later, reappear and go off the deep end about how screwed up everything is.

It is true... all that is old is new again.

Not only do we have to wait for Santa, but we also have to hear nonsense about who the next coach is. Since we've already considered a bunch of A-list candidates I'll propose a bunch of C-list candidates:

Brady Hoke, Glen Mason, Jim grobe, Chan Gailey, Terry Bowden, Cam Cameron, Charlie Weis, and Mark Mangino
