Bracketology: Lunardi moves M to a 3 seed
link: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology
All Lunardi disclaimers apply.
M is a 3 seed, moved down from a 2 because of the IU loss.
Also, some interesting notes:
- MSU is a 2 seed
- Wisconsin is a 4 seed
- OSU and Iowa are 5 seeds
- Minny is a 10 seed
- Indiana is among his first four out, putting them squarely on the bubble. That's quite a rise for IU.
- FSU is still hanging on as a 10 seed.
Last, Lunardi's actual bracket set up just like last year, with matchups against Kansas and Florida. Oh, the memories.

Almost got kicked out of a bar in Kalamazoo for jumping on the tables high-fiving people...
Disclaimer: I was quite inebriated at that point.

I was with a group of 15-20 at the Arena in downtown A2 watching this game. We were also jumping on the tables and my buddy kept yelling "LET'S GET SHITTY" to the Lansing news crew that was trying to film us. Good times.

Was at the game and leaped out of my seat when he pulled up and highfived strangers like they have never been highfived before.

As soon as he took the shot, I screamed "No Trey!" Had about 1% confidence in anything good happening. Thank you, Trey, Timmy, and the rest of MBB for a wild ride.

I screamed "Trey, What the F are you doing?" I was at a bar up north. Everyone in the bar froze and stared at me like I was crazy. Then when it fell, I did go crazy and they cut me off.

Even when it went in...every nerve in my body was going nuts. But I was calm, I didn't clap, I didn't cheer. I was a rock.
In fact, I didn't move the entire late 2nd half run. My arm was going numb and I sat in the same position and didn't make a noise or even lift my hand to scratch my head.
Sometimes I have to go to that MOJO...During BraylonFest I did it from the 3rd quarter on when we started coming back and we won. Only then I was at a bar...but I moved to a table to sit myself. When Braylon was going nuts I had guys coming up and hugging me, a lady kissed me, a guy almost got in a fight with another guy because he was trying to distract me.
Weirdest, most sports/nut/fan/crazy/obsessive moment of my life. Somehow, I'm not ashamed. But I swear my arm was going to fall off with that 3 OT game.

The Braylonfest didn't start until midway through the 4th quarter. MSU went up 27-10 with about eight minutes to go.

they're projecting individual games, so they're assuming that their projections are correct and that osu has more impressive victories/fewer bad losses. you don't have to agree with those projections.

Interesting that they predict us as BIG champs(share or outright depending on MSU result), but still a 4. I assume that if we pick up a win or 2 in the BIG tourney we could get up to a 3 seed. Win both the league and the tourney and there is no way we are not a 2 seed. Seems pretty close to accurate.
I think if we go 5-4 we get a 4 seed, but any better than that results in a 3 seed probably. Obviously there is some wiggle depending on who the wins and losses are.

Well if we went to the finals as a 4 seed, it seems safe to say we'd win the title as a 3 seed.

Thank you, but I'm afraid I can't take credit. This particular theory was developed in the late 18th century by the German philosopher Ludolf Krapp.

Can the people who want to discuss our seed please stop referencing Joe Lunardi alone? No disrespect, but there are a lot of other people out there who have consistently outperformed him. (http://www.bracketmatrix.com/rankings.html)
Please use the Bracket Project's Bracket Matrix, a compilation of all bracketologists:
Thanks for considering.

I know they're the self-proclaimed "world wide leader in sports," but last I checked, they're on the same interwebs as everyone else. (Hint: I just made it just as accessible for you above.)
