Bracket Predictions - how wrong will you be this year?

Submitted by gwkrlghl on

Make your bold, terrible predictions here. Think this will be the first year a 16 seed wins? Have a 9-seed in the final four? Have Michigan winning it all?

Sadly, I picked MSU to win it all in a few brackets already. I'm also jumping on the UConn momentum bandwagon and have them going to the final four.

Disrespekt!!!!

idiot talking head on CBS just said it's controversial UVa got a 1 seed over Michigan!

Anyway, I'm picking sparty on at least one bracket - so potential winnings notwithstanding if I'm gonna be wrong about something I'll take that one!!

Well, I know how wrong I usually am - aside from one glorious year where I came in third and won part of a prize, I have not won a single pool at work in the twelve years I've been there. Indeed, after that third place finish in 2009, my highest finish is twelfth last year - that rank, of course, awards you exactly zero dollars. In other words, I've been very wrong.

Michigan beats Tulsa. Msu will win more games than I'd like. Kansas chokes, like always, but a team from their region loses in the title game (happens quite often, actually). Unc over Villanova for the title.

I picked Duke over Wisconsin last year, so undoubtedly, my March Madness bracket career has peaked and it's all downhill from here.

My strategy in the 20 years I've done brackets is to pick the team with the best overall player in my opinion (it's worked twice: Okafor last year, Kemba Walker in 2011). I'll be using it again this year (hint, I don't think it's Valentine).

UNC, MSU, MD, OR.

Dark horse - Purdue.

Michigan upsets ND.

Top of BIG is pretty good this year, IMO. Which means they'll get swept out of sweet 16.

I used this matrix last year that did a side by side comparison of the matchups on an excel sheet which actually helped me win my office bracket.  I can't remember what it was though.  Anyone have an idea of what I'm talking about?

2 that i studied matchups and 3 that i let a few more cinderellas win than usual. First brackets Final 4 is Duke, Uconn, Indiana and Butler with IU takin the ship. The seond one is Duke, Uconn, Seton Hall and UNC with Duke winning it all. The the 3 other champions are Chattanooga, Gonzaga and Mid Tennessee State(0% chance this one would happen)
