BR 2010 Prediction

Sorry if this was already posted but I searched and didn't see it. I stumbled across this article and was shocked it was more optimistic about this coming season than I was. It has Michigan finishing 10-2, loosing to PSU and OSU. I was also pretty shocked when I saw "Tate Forcier, who has the potential to be the next Tim Tebow". Sept can't get here soon enough. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/352947-the-2010-michigan-football-sc…

hmm...im not so sure thats a good thing...tim tebows whole game was that he was big enough to fall forward for a few yards...thats it...so if tater tot is just tim tebow without the ability to fall forward i would be very worried...fortunately i believe tate has the ability to throw a pass thats longer than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage...

You know Iowa is returning a pretty good team. Something tells me that losing Stanzi is addition by subtraction and Forcier will be running for his life again with Iowa's monsters in the front seven. Something tells me that you are going to be very disappointed next year if you think 9-3 to 10-2 is likely. 7 wins will be hard to come by with our defense.

I think the PSU game is winnable. They will have a freshman QB playing but Iowa will be tough. You know Sparty has the clock running for us. If we go 10-2 Pat Caputo will stroke out and the FREEP will go out of business. BRING IT ON!!!

Are you kidding me? We have a 10-2 type offense but we have a 5-7 type defense. best to hope for is 8-4 with a reality of 7-5. Sorry just trying to be realistic here but I will take 10-2 all day!

hmm...im not so sure our offense is a 10-2 team..i think its more around 8-4...tater is only going to be in his 2nd year with still a long way to go to reach his full potential, were going to have a new group of RBs where vincent smith is the only guy with a start, and he only started 2 (both of which he didnt even get 10 carries)...our OL was shaky at best last year and molk is doubtful to be fully healthy...not to mention huyge or dorrestein is likely to start again...not trying to be a debbie downer or a michigan hater or anything...just not so sure we have a 10-2 offense...i also think our defense will be more like a 6-6 defense and i think it could possibly even be a 7-5 type defense by years end...

Sorry VAWolverine, but it bugs the shit out of me when a fan tells another fan something along the lines of "we need to focus on the next game" or "we can't look past _____." Yes, we can look past UConn. None of us are playing or coaching. Whether or not I focus my entire summer on UConn or if I write them off as a gimme and focus on the Big Ten schedule has no effect on our team. I intend to look past our next opponent on a regular basis this season, and I won't even feel bad about it.

I'm sorry, but any "publication" that touts Tate Forcier as another potential Tim Tebow automatically has to be tabbed unreliable. From height to body size to throwing motion to personality to running skills, etc. etc. etc., they are not even close to being the same player.

...of impact on the game from the QB position. I see Tate as being more in command of the offensive schemes, and having better field vision this year. Denard should also have more of the offense under his belt. Should be fun to watch the offense this year. I only hope they don't run into what the Lions had when Scott Mitchell ran the show: an offense that scored fairly quickly, but that didn't give the defense time to rest!
