Michigan to slip down the bowl chart, but it would be somewhat funny if Michigan went to the bowl game in Santa Clara, Ca.

Also, I forgot how many terrible bowls there are now.

Wait. I'm confused. We have to commit to buy tickets to a bowl game even if we don't know which bowl game we'll be at? (I know, I know....the Rose Bowl. But what if.....)

Will we have another option to buy tickets to the bowl game that we're actually going to? I'm unemployed, and will only be able to scrape together enough money to go to the actual bowl game we go to. I have no desire to guess and be wrong this far in advance.

Personally I'm done buying bowl tickets from the AD.  Been screwed too many times, most recently for the 2012 Sugar Bowl.  Requested the best, most expensive tickets possible, and got stuck in the nosebleed section in the endzone.  Meanwhile, there were much better, empty seats everywhere.  I'm a season ticket holder, but I don't have a zillion points, which I assume is the problem.

If I'm going to make the trip, I'm not going to skimp on the tickets.  Way better off buying direct from the bowl venue or, if that's not possible, buying on the secondary market.

Not necessarily. If the problem in 2012 was the wealthy donors reserved more tickets than needed (just in case), i don't see what would prevent that this time around. Having to commit 6 weeks in advance and before the bowl is even known is ludicrous You think things are better now, yet back in 2003 i recall even the rose bowl tickets didn't go on sale until *after* beating ohio st
