Those are all whacked.

LSU is going to beat Alabama. Even if they lose to ole miss, they are 1 loss and win division. Then they beat Florida in conference. LSU already beat them. LSU is in the playoffs.

Clemson is no brainer in with schedule.

TCU, OK, OK St, Baylor all play each other so who knows.

Pac12 will all have 2 losses so they are out.

What are they gonna do when Toledo and either Houston or Memphis are undefeated?

I don't think OSU is going to win back to back MSU and Michigan. So either MSU or Michigan plays (and beats) undefeated Iowa and goes to playoff. I think OSU looks ahead, loses both to MSU and Michigan.

#1 LSU vs #4 MSU

#2 (Big 12) vs #3 Clemson

Iowa Rose

Michigan Citrus or Fiesta

OSU Outback or Citrus

is poorly written, but here you go.

I haven't seen any official clarification that step b)1. refers to conference games only, but that seems to be the case.

The starting condition prior to the application of b)1. is that three or more teams are tied.  The interpretation that "record" in step b)1. refers to conference record causes step b)1. to have no effect and is clumsy writing. The alternative possible interpretation is that "record" refers to conference + OOC games, which would penalize OOC losses, which would lead to all-tomato-can OOC scheduling.

I'm guessing it's the former interpretation of clumsy writing only over a clumsy description of a procedure that actually creates a disincentive for quality OOC games.

I believe it's meant to be record against each other. So if teams A, B, C all have 2 conference losses: A is 1-1 against B and C B is 2-0 against A and C C is 0-2 against A and B then B goes to the championship game. It doesn't apply to this situation since they'd all be 1-1 so you go to the next tiebreaker. It just so happens that they're tied all the way through to the last one which is CFP ranking.

I don't want to go to the Cotton Bowl.  It's not a major bowl, don't care what anyone else says.  Plus the beaches in Dallas are no good in December, or the summer for that matter.

Lewis vs. Treadwell. Best WR in the country against arguably the best CB. Would be a great test.

Personally would rather play Florida because I think we match up better with them, but either matchup would be great.

Rose Bowl. Always the Rose Boel unless we're talking about a championship. There is no better game. No better history. No better parade. I could go on. If we don't make it to the Rose Bowl or better I will gladly travel to Orlando for the citrus. Been a long time since Micgigan has been down there over New Years. San Diego would be a far better than Atlanta or Dallas IMHO.
