Boubacar Cissoko currently playing DB for the Chicago Rush
Boubacar is out and doing things!
ESPN put together a list of Michigan players in the pros and Boubacar showed up as playing on an arena team. He recorded 17 tackles and 2 interceptions in the 2012 season. Good to see him doing something.
Isn't that the team that Kevin Grady was playing for when he set a world record for BAC%? That may not be a good place for Boubacar.
Pretty sure Grady played for the Chicago Slaughter.
Right you are. I just remembered Chicago.
Grady was also in his hometown when it happened, it had nothing to do with the location of the team.
This is the best news reported about BooBoo in a while. Good luck to him. I hope he learned his lesson from all that other crap. I'm glad to hear he is being productive somewhere.
Always good to see former players continuing their careers
So if he is on Sunday Night Arena Football does he say "Boubacar Cissoko, Michigan", or "Boubacar Cissoko, Jackson State Penn"?
I'm probably gonna bashed for this one...
Kid served his time and hopefully is trying to rectify and move on. No point piling on, especially a former UM player.
I thought he was in jail or something
Yeah, I thought he had a pretty long prison sentence. Anyhow, good for him.
Currently have Juice Williams...
I always thought he had great football potential.
Been out of jail since July 2011.
I thought he'd be locked up for at least a couple years. BTW, I know someone who taught him in high school - says he was a great kid. Maybe he can turns things around.
Part of the shock of the whole thing was that everyone talked about how good of a kid he was in high school, staying away from the wrong crowd. I also think I heard he was a bit sheltered, so that might have been part of it. Either way, I'm glad to see he's doing what he loves. I was really excited about him when he came; that was about the time I started following recruiting. I hope the best for the kid.
that he got released so fast. Armed robbery, plus an add-on due to a fight with a CO (IIRC). Great for him.
Boubacar
Not sure how long you think he needs to be in prison for attempting to rob $37 from a pizza delivery guy.
It's interesting that Braylon is still looking for a team... It's too bad injuries and that huge head of his make him an unnatractive pickup for teams because he sure can ball.
Isn't he part of the "Mean Machine"?
i was curious and saw that arena football salaries are approximately $4,600 per season... ouch...
