As usual, thank you.

Is it sad (or weird) that when they mentioned Vincent Smith and Brandon Hawthorn being from Pahokee during the ND game, my first thought was about a poster on MgoBlog who always delivers the video?

Good to hear Mattison accept responsibility for some of the calls.  I was a RR supporter to the end, but I felt like one of the things I disliked about that regime was their eagerness to blame other things (inexperience, scheme, execution, etc) without ever pointing the finger at themselves.  Many times in press conferences RR would give his canned reply "I need to watch the tape".

Mattison on the other hand was up front, accountable and sounds like he knew what happened without needing to dodge the question.  Seems like a straight shooter and I like that a lot.

Thanks for dilligently posting these.  I love being able to watch the press conferences every week from Mattison.

After hearing Mattison say he wouldn't have called that play again in that end-game situation, and after seeing what the Picture Page Post showed on the Kovacs INT with that one WR wide open, I'm curious to see if Mattison calls that  play again against EMU, and if he does, how the players execute it after watching the film back. I can only imagine with this staff that if they run that play again, the players will have learned from their mistakes.

I could listen to Mattison talk all day. What a great coach.
