I don't think that this is really that big of a deal anymore. Hopefully our players are worried about winning the game and executing and not about Justin Boren. This article makes it sound like the buckeyes are planning to protect Boren from cheap shots.
Boren Defection Adds Spice to Otherwise Bland Michigan Week
I have to be honest and say I would be thrilled to see Boren get legally dominated onto the ground all day long.
Boren is a guard, right? Just wondering if B. Graham will have a chance to destroy him.
I hope Boren gets his ass kicked so bad they have to charge Martin and RVB with 3rd degree assualt and battery afterward.
it'll be interesting to watch boren
Would love to see Boren get rolled over. I have caught Ohio State 3-4 times and focused on him. He has actually been decent but I don't think that offensive line is all that great. We should be able to pressure Pryor but can't let him escape and rollout - If he passes from the pocket with some degree of pressure he could make mistakes.
Boren's brother plays fullback so you get to hear the name more than you would care for.
This game can be won.
KILL THE BEAST!
is it wrong to double team a guard? Martin hits him high and Graham hits him low?
My wish is that BG would just pancake Boren every play! I'm always up for the OSU game. I just hope our team can kick their fucking asses!
Boren hopes he gets pancaked too. As well as sausaged, egged, baconed, and mystery hashed.
From fellow Buckeye Jim Cordle:
"I remember when he [Boren] first came here and all the talk and all the messages he was showing me, and then he went off to the media and said some things about Michigan."
I honestly don't remember Boren saying anything to the press, and certainly not anything to the media AFTER he was part of the OSU team. Did I miss something? Is there perhaps some way to do a Factiva search of Boren comments since he joined the team?
The reason that I am going off on this, is that IF Boren "went off to the media" after joining the Buckeyes, would that not have been this past July and August; 2009? Which is when Rosenberg started working on his "story." (nb -- Boren most certainly DID say "some things about Michigan, in the form of his infamous press release courtesy of his two parental units. But that was before anybody in Columbus had started thinking about him. Cordle's comments, unless he's just a dumshit, imply Boren's arrival within the team, getting to know the guys, sharing text messages and e-mails, and then, after that, Boren's "going off to the media...")
