He may not owe fans full disclosure on injury information, but he certainly owes, not just the fans, but everyone, not outright lying on players' absences (e.g. "family issue")

To be clear, i don't have any issue with him not disclosing exactly how long Funchess is out, or to disclose that Wilson won't play, or stuff like that.  But to say Peppers is "fine" after Week 1...there's an expectation not to lie, a line which he blurs sometimes.  No obligation to tell the whole truth and disclose everything, but certainly an expectation not to lie.

Mainly the formations we are using. Not a lot of base D, and we used a lot of nickel packages so he doesn't fit in a role right now. I'd expect to see him more against teams that don't spread it out as much. He was out there a bit more today though, I think Mattison was experimenting with things again.

between what defense we are in, facing spread teams does that. Also, i just think others have caught up to him and he hasn't improved as much. he seemed to always get swallowed up by pulling lineman, he's one of my favorites, i'm sure he will make some plays for us eventually in the season

Was glad to see Chesson out on the field after he got drilling trying to make a catch.  He was hobling off the field after that and it looked like it could be a rib injury.

If hoke had a b1g championship and a winning record against osu and MSU, everyone would be eating his new injury update policy up like it was the greatest thing ever.

I wish I knew about the injuries for the same reason I want to know about anything about the team.  Is Kalis not playing because he is hurt or because they think Glasgow is better?  If Kalis is hurt, then why can he play "some"?  Similar questions could be asked about Pipkins.  No, the coaches may not "owe" us information.  But I'd still like to know.  On a related note, it baffles me that they even bother with the pressers.  They've made up their minds that they don't want to say anything, so why bother?

and limped with every step on that bad leg.  Based on that, I casn't see him playing against Utah and maybe 1-2 more weeks.

I know Hoke doesn't want to give the opposition any advantage in prepping for the next game, but he's getting to the point where he could just put a a cardboard cutoutt of himself at the podium and play a recording full of "well....the players need to play better and the coaches need to do a better job coaching them"

His pressers are pointless (no pun intended)

I don't see Taylor or Funchess coming back until PSU at the earliest, if Taylor comes back at all, could have been an ACL

Wilson made a great, saving tackle in the second half last week on punt coverage and got up slowly, got off the field slowly. It looked like an upper body boo boo as he dove for the tackle. The sideline reporter yesterday said Funchess hurt his OTHER leg when he joined in celebration on the field after the Lewis int. that's why he was limping.
