Upset number two on the way tonight to upset the new "number one team" in the conference.
Others tonight include Pitt @ Cinci, Louisville @ ND, and Gonzaga is playing.
Proceed with belittling comments about Sparty so I may laugh while becoming drunk.

The Big 12 sucks and they've coughed up three straight: one game at home and two easy ones on the road
... they won the national title
But TCU man. TCU
And in 1989, we lost an equally infuriating road game to a red-and-white team (Indiana) on a long buzzer-beater. I think every team has one of those random coincidences from their title year if they dig hard enough.
MSWho didnt already win today? Going by all the Sparty on victory posts when we lost today. I thought they already played and won. I wonder if any fans in least Lansing even know they have a game tonight

Not being a snob. I know. We only have nice things to say here. No nicknames, think just like everybody else, unless it is aimed at another poster. Whatever dude
Try leaving the 3rd grade insults to the 3rd graders.
Some people need to calm down a little - but we do try to avoid the little insulting names for other schools over here.
I'll tell on you if you do it again. And don't even dare telling on me for telling on you..
Bo Ryan has taken all the fun out if basketball. I'm numb for this game.
Aren't Harris and Appling supposed to be gimpy? They don't look like it. Reminds me of Draymond Green's "miracle recovery" last year.
All the other teams in the top 5 have at least one loss this week...
We might even stay at 3
Duke or maybe even Miami. Honestly, Michigan or Indiana should probably be #1 given the nature of the losses.
The hell do you figure we should be number 1? We just lost to an unranked team...
Given how crazy this week was for the upper echelon of CBB, Michigan's OSU win and freakish loss to Wisconsin are actually pretty good. Duke will probably be #1 just based on W/L, but Michigan shouldn't fall very far, and I can actually see them moving up to #2. Voters know the deal with Wisconsin in the Kohl Center - won 4 of last 5 versus top 5 opponents. They were unranked, yes, but Bo Ryan can suck the life out of anybody with just about any team he has, and people know this.
And IU will be in front of us.
Didnt suck the life out today though, they scored 65 points...I think we will be in the 4-6 range and I think that is high...
Our losses are to OSU (Top 10), Indiana (Top 5) and Wisky on the road. Wisconsin was only a 2pt underdog today for a reason. They have a ridiculous record at the Kohl Center.
The teams most people are pointing to as #1 are Miami and Duke, right?
Miami has lost to Florida Gulf Coast (not Top 10), Arizona (Top 10) and Indiana State (Not Top 10). They have one good out of conference win at home vs MSU. The ACC is awful this year.
Duke has lost to NC State and Miami (by 30 points) and are not getting Ryan Kelly back anytime soon if at all. By far the best team they've beaten was Ohio State by 5.
Any other teams deserve to be #1? Kansas? Florida who just lost by 30?
Since Miami got healthy they've been very, very good, but as you say it's a weak ACC. I'd probably go ahead and keep Indiana #1.
Yeah.
Also, I'm watching this Louisville-ND game right now. What do people see in Louisville? They play good defense but have horrible shooting and basketball IQ. Maybe it's the Pitino factor?
Has won 11 in a row. We will be behind IU and Miami...and Duke. I bet we will be 5 or 6...
Miami is on a roll, but they did lose to Florida Gulf Coast by double digits, lost to Arizona big, and lost to Indiana State. They're not up there just yet.
I guess home court advantage in calls aren't applicable with MSU.
Whoa - "Upset number two on the way tonight"?
You've got to change the OP. Don't jinx Purdue by predicting victory.
With a 4-pack of Stone Brewery Ruinous pale ale.
Arcadia ESB, and special 150 proof bourbon in commemoration of our gut wrenching loss. Consider my gut wrenched.
Boiler MF up
At the moment, it's a Boddington's Ale and the Pitt-Cincinnati game - both teams are living around 40% or so for field goals and we are fast approaching a combined 30 personal fouls in this game.
Both teams have great free throw percentages tonight though, so there's that.
Barley's Robert Burns Scottish Export Ale
It's uncanny how Izzo's teams go on runs the first five minutes of the second half. (Beilein's frequently do as well.) MSU is probably like +50 on the season during those five-minute stretches.
I'll never understand the Purdue students being so obsessed with their rivals to always chant "IU sucks"....when they're not even playing them.....and they're down 15
Goose Island 312
It may just be a failure of genetics but Denzel Valentine constantly looks like he's not quite sure where he's at.
We'll get them tuesday.
Captain Morgan and coke.
Having worked with a lot of Wisconsin alumni in the mid-90's I think I have more Badger anger than the average Michigan fan. Thus, had to break out the last of my Hopslam tonight. It is definitely helping to take the edge off!
I bought 4 cases of the 1/10/13 batch and it is terrible by Hopslam standards. Very bitter and lacking the usual grapefruit and piney hop taste. Fml.
Well, if I calculated this correctly, Notre Dame and Louisville both sit at a shade under 0.500 for offensive efficiency right now. It is an offensive rhythm of the variety that would make experimental musicians like Brian Eno proud certainly.
Is there a mandate that all Notre Dame basketball players must look alike? The only people in the world that have the same haircut as Luke Harangody are ND Power Forwards and Centers. #Swarbick'd #NDbrand #Catfished #ContrivedHistory
