The original article said nothing about the Regents meeting, only Schlissel having a "communication meeting" that may cover the subject.  It's been over two hours, and things apparently haven't changed (or there's been no update/clarification).  The title needs to be updated accordingly.

I just got a transcript from the meeting from my source.

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR: President Schlissel, we're here to talk about the situation involving our football team.

PRESIDENT SCHLISSEL: Our what?

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR: Our football team.

PRESIDENT SCHLISSEL: We have a football team?

I will be happily surprised if DB is fired. It needs to happen to save the football program. HOWEVA, DB is a master manipulator and seems to have a Teflon vibe about him. I could easily see him putting all the blame on Hoke and then going about business as usual.

I just don't see anything of substance happening at the meeting today. A lot of hrumph hrumph and what do we do now type of language. I don't see them advocating to dismiss Hoke now and certainly don't see them firing their prized "cash cow AD". That being said the AD search needs to start now before they fire Hoke or will will have another long drawn out search ending with all big names saying no and getting the choice of a mud major hoke clone.

All of the people who have the authority to do something about Brandon called an unscheduled meeting to talk about it. I don't see that as being something they do just to sit around and hrumph since they all have actual jobs to do outside of being Regents. 

I think this is the end of Brandon. Not likely Hoke yet. If he gets cut before the end of the season, they'll wait until one of the bye weeks.
