Bo and why he was/is important

Obviously-- many on This Board were NOT There for the formative years of the 1970s, and then on into the 1980s. And there WAS quite a bit of Very Directed Criticism, which I wont go into. And I was often one of them.
I dont know where this Living In The Past Thing comes from, but there are CLEARLY Many Many Lessons that can be learned from this, and the Moeller-Carr period for that matter.
But I DO Know-- that if Bo had wittnessed that R2 1st- year, and The Ending Of The Streaks, and then someone said
well-- Cupboard was Bare. R2 needs a Group Hug For Support . . .
he would have just said-- FUCK YOU-- and seen it as a sign of Being Absolutely Gutless And Cowardly.
Fundamentally-- I think, The Man was Simply Not Into EXCUSES. And even TODAY-- on this board, you read The Same Old Gutless-Cowardly EXCUSES about the R2 period.

So once you hit 50, is Viagra a necessity or just something that helps bring back the youthful stamina of yesteryear?

If Bo was alive he probably would have recruited Dantonio to be the coach. I know that sounds crazy but Dantonio is Bo's kind of coach.
And the Michigan Man meme has to stop. It's a silly bully pulpit that people are using to advance their own objectives. Bo didn't want Frieder, who was by then effectively ASUs coach, to coach Michigan. A person employed by Michigan will coach Michigan. It wasn't a statement on DNA, it was a way to show support for loyalty. That's all it was...period.

Had the honor of spending 45 minutes with him. We spoke about life not just football. If he were alive none of this crap would be going on.
