Blame Addidas
After weeks of investigation I HAVE DISCOVERED THE REASON THAT OUR BELOVED WOLVERINES HAVE STRUGGLED THE LAST THREE YEARS!!!!!
According to an UN-NAMED media source (that is for those of you who hate the media and their un-named sources- and you know who you are) who heard it from a guy who knows another guy. THE REASON FOR OUR STRUGGLES IS THE SWITCH TO..........ADIDAS!
Think about it- 3 years ago Michigan switched and three years ago the struggles began.
HERE IS THE REASON- apparently it was both JIM TRESSEL AND MARK D'ANTONIO working behind the scenes that orchestrated the uniform switch!
Also- according to the un-named source- there are micro-chips embedded into every Michigan uniform that transmits both the defensive calls and the offensive calls. The OPPONENT KNOWS THE PLAY OR DEFENSE EVERY TIME. That is why we have struggled.
Our offense has been good because apparently DILITHIUM OVERRIDES THE MICRO-CHIP -thus rendering it useless - so the offense was able to be explosive.
On defense we have no dilithium so our defense has been shredded.
I had to get this posted because word on the street is that I am in danger since I know this information- seems Tressel and D'antonio are sending their tattooed and ski-mask clad thugs after me to shut me up. I am not advocating a switch back to Nike- just saying that EVIL FORCES HAVE BEEN WORKING AGAINST OUR BELOVED TEAM............NOW YOU KNOW THE TRUTH!

That explains a lot on defense. Now we need Dilithium on our defense!

I really think people underestimate the effect Nike v. Adidas has on recruiting.

You mean to tell me you can't picture a kid like Terrelle considering the logo that would be on his jersey when he was deciding between Michigan and Ohio state

It shouldn't matter, but the fact is, 16 year old kids are dumb.

I'm pretty sure the struggles began when Bo died. Nothing has been right (save for possibly Carr's last game) since that event. I shall henceforth refer to Bo's passing away as The Event, since it altered the course of Michigan football in such a way that it has yet to recover.

the exact same thing for years. Bo passed and we lost 4 straight. We have yet to fully recover.

I have been saying this for years. Glad to find someone that agrees finally. :)

Sorry computer problems. :)

How does that explain Mississippi State's success? They're wearing Adidas, too.
Personally, I blame the idiotic "You Suck" chant, which became a student-section staple right around 2007. We've had zero homefield advantage since then.

If it's sarcasm, it's not funny.
It doesn't provide any information.
It doesn't make me think.
It's hardly useful commiseration.

Nike back please? DB you have other issues to worry about other than CC.
