I'm at my in-laws. We are not going shopping today, and I have at least one day's reprieve from Christmas decorating. Practice safe banging out there, folks.

I'm taking my eight year old to his first game: Iowa - Nebraska. Hopefully he makes it through it. My first game was Iowa-Michigan 1985 (to Iowans: THE GAME) and I remember being bored stiff! All those field goals.

buying clothes is a necessary requirement. He is buying them at a cheaper price then normal thereby saving money in the clothing budget.

So yes, he is "saving money". He could save more money by not spending it, but then he would be nude and with that comes other problems.

Even making your own clothing costs money.

I think you are being too clever by  one half.

Putting "saving money" in quotes only proves my point. He (or anyone for that matter) has only bought at the lowest (hopefully) price within the acceptable buying timeframe (Yay!). All you are really doing is coming in under budget or buying in higher volume for that budget.

Of course if you take the difference and put it in the bank (or mattress) for a period of time longer than say a month. Then you can probably say you saved it. But how many of us really do that?

LIghts too if it is over 30 degrees. Don't get the whole Black Friday thing. Cheaper to shop on line next week.

Besides there must be something on ESPN classic or something to watch while drinking a beer.

Anyways, catching up on some reading, and checked out this weeks THANKFUL-ASS SPURRIER. Great Michigan dig for all the laughs.

Ohio State covers up the M's on their campus for the big game against Michigan, but the Wolverines already beat 'em to that. Been without an O for months.

Anyways, here is the link for the rest.

Oh yeah, and Happy Thanksgiving to y'all. Didn't get to pop in and say so yesterday.
