Biggest recruiting weekend of the year

Submitted by Modernmanshustl on

So despite how you may feel about our season, this is our biggest (by far) recruiting weekend of the year. Lets get out there, cheer on our team, and show the future of Michigan Football why they should come here.  I've compiled a visitor's list, courtesy of landof10, of who we can expect on campus.  As an aside, our 2nd biggest recruiting weekend this season was the MSU game so unless ugly losses in monsoons are your idea of a good time, we need to hit it out of the park this weekend.

OT- Nihcolas Petit-Frere 4* #4 OT Fl

DE- Taylor Upshaw 3* #25 SDE Fl

DE- Ayabi Enoma 4* #4 DE Md

DE- Jason Oweh 4* #8 De

DT- Alim Mcneil 4* #20 DE. Nc

DT- Rick Sandidge 4* #11 DT Nc

DT- Michael Thompson4 * #2 DT Mo

TE- Michael Ezeike 3* #17 TE Ca

TE- Tommy Tremble 3* #23 TE Ga

Ath- Talona Hufunga 4* #1 ATH Or

WR- Jamar Chase 4* #12 WR La

QB- Joe Milton 4* #9 Pro QB Fl

2019

RB- Noah Cain 5* #1 RB Fl

RB- Eric Gray 4* #2 Apb Tn

LB- Charles Thomas 4* #8 ILB Ga

2020

OL-Justin Rogers MI

I'm sure this list is evolving, but TLDR,  this Sat is our biggest recruiting weekend of the year, get out and show future wolverines why they should make the right choice.  As always, Go Blue, and dont tweet at recruits.

-Sincerely, long time reader, first time poster.

Though I think it was more demoralized than quitting. It was a huge emotional blow. The kid had driven them down the field a couple of times and they were finally looking like a competent offense after weeks of crap. I can't really blame a young team for letting the emotion of the situation play a role.

And the drops when JOK is playing are crazy high, but so is watching a reciever get blown up from behind by a safety they did not know was there. So again, I can't fault them for feeling footsteps when he clearly puts guys into worse position that the other QBs.

a) It's still too early to say exactly who's going to be there.

b) Offensive linemen in the 2018 and 2019 classes scheduled to be there are Nick Petit-Frere, Logan Brown, and Trevor Keegan. Brown just committed to Wisconsin so I don't know if he'll still come, but there are other options and there are a couple guys planning visits for early December.

You know what would really dissuade high end recruits? No, not a loss. Most players don't choose their future school on the outcome of one game. Sure a big win helps, but it isn't critical.

So what would dissuade them? Shitty fans booing their own team. Don't fucking do it

I don't think Michael Ezeike is planning to visit. Regardless, he's committing sometime today and choosing between Arizona State, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Utah.

It's going to suck a bag of assholes when the stadium is 40% osu fans like '08. I'll be there with UM gear on as always so don't blame me ;)

If our fans do what they’ve done in the past and sell their tickets to buckeyes fans I’m not sure the allure of the big house will be too appealing with 30,000+ buckeyes there. So if any of you are considering selling your tickets, make sure it’s to a Michigan fan!!!

First time poster ? Then how did you score 143 points already?

The first thing when I looked at the list, was the OT spot.

Harbaugh has to get contacts, and ditch those old looking glasses... it seems about when he began to wear those Woody Hayes glasses, things have turned south.. he looks old in them, and the young look is far more effective as a perception.
