Official for the Iowa game is what I've seen.

Well that would be a decent replacement. I was hoping for a 6* but I guess we can't all get what we want.

you learned something from a guy called "MGoBallsack". I'm guessing that's not easily replicated outside the internet/MGoBlog.

have been having bad dreams about them for millenia. Don't they teach feminism in Ann Arbor any longer? Michigan has gone to the dogs.
:)

And come on, Viper, you can make a better title than that.

Anybody in the know has information on whoelse we are looking at to replace Dawson? I would be extremely delighted if we could flip someone from ND. They got a few of Michigan leans after our OL positions were full in early spring.

Here is the interview Ace did with him back in January:

He obviously hasn't shown much interest since then, but a visit would be huge.

I'm not sure if it's an official or not, but just the fact that he's flying out from Florida means his interest must be present!

McQuay will be here for NW as well. Also, Green posted on Twitter today "Miami might be back in it". The "17 yr old on twitter" meme came to mind when I read that.... Could just be my coping mechanism though.

Looking at his Rivals profile and it is showing a whole lot of SEC, and Florida teams. But a visit gives Michigan a chance with him.

Hmm an Oline that goes Tunsil-Fox-Kugler-Bosch-LTT? Yes yes yes yes please! Funny thing is I wonder if Dawson still ends up with us. I know I know, the coaches have sunk the ship, but the kid wants to stay close to home and I couldn't imagine the coaches not forgiving a 17 year old kid who wants to play for them.
November 5th, 2012 at 1:45 AM ^
Where is Kalis and Braden on your potential OL? Kalis ia a stud and the coaches are really high on Braden. Our Ol is going to be so unbelievably nasty. I can't wait.

Can you refresh me, ar these new alligations and issues related to Miami, or the same ones that have been talked about for a while now?

The original Shaprio stuff, plus the cbsports article that came out a couple of months ago from cbssports detailing which provided more details and included the fact that Golden had still been using one of Shapiro's guys to contact recruits. Have to think they will get hammered. Bet they regret Paul Dee's high profile players require high profile compliance about USC. They may end up self banning themselves from a bowl game this year again, though considering they are the favourite to play in the ACC title game that decision has probably become a lot harder.

Don't know about other schools being in or out, but the stuff about Michigan being out of the running was pure speculation. The argument was that Michigan was such a great fit and since he had already had a big visit this summer, that if he were going to commit, he would have already done so.
The comment was, I believe, made by Mike Farrell. To his credit, he never said that he had information to this effect. He always said this was his own speculation. But some have taken it to mean more than I think it really means.
The kid could simply be taking his time to make sure that he is making the right choice. There is nothing wrong with that.
