Hill with seven strikeouts through seven innings as Michigan leads 7-1 in the seventh! #lucky7

Hill leaves the game with 8 strikeouts in 7.2 innings; Jackson Lamb to make an appearance on the mound after starting the first 2 games of the tournament in left field. This will be Lamb's fourth pitching appearance of the season.
Michigan gets the 7-1 win.
Group finals on Saturday:
Michigan v Nebraska, 10:00 am & 6:00 pm EDT (Michigan must win twice, Nebraska only needs one win)
Michigan State v Indiana, 2:00 pm & 10:00 pm (Michigan State must win twice, Indiana only needs one win)
Championship game is Sunday at 2:00 pm. Winner to the NCAA tournament.
I have been consistently wrong about these predictions, but I would think Logan McAnallen gets the start Saturday morning.
Bakich rolling the dice again with a freshman for tomorrow morning: Keith Lehmann, who had a terrific start against UIC last week in his only start of the year. He's been great out of the bullpen all year, with a 4-0 record and a 2.86 ERA.
Bakich says Keith Lehmann will get the start tomorrow morning against Nebraska.

Amazing how fast Bakich is turning things around.
3 wins and Michigan is going to the NCAA Tournament. This team was 17-37 just 3 years ago.
The game notes do have Lehmann as the Michigan starter this morning. He faced Nebraska in relief earlier this year:
Keith Lehmann will make his second appearance against Nebraska this season. Lehmann pitched five innings of relief in Friday April 25's game, allowing five hits and no runs with five strikeouts and a walk.
