Not good that RR is the least favorite to play for...what kind of message is this sending future rcruits? Can we get this poll taken off immediately? This is exactly the kind of stuff the media will spin

Translation to opposition players:

"Which coach do you want to anonymously and publicly bad mouth to discourage recruiting?"

The rest of the Big 10 has to try to even the playing field somehow.

If you look at the wording, Birkett does not state that he polled one player from each team, just that he polled 11 Big Ten players (hehe, Birkett polled 11 guys):

In an AnnArbor.com survey of 11 Big Ten players

It wouldn't surprise me if the 11 players were all Sparties/Buckeyes.

I find this entertaining:

What Big Ten stadium has the worst atmosphere?
Northwestern - 9
Comment: “They got like a high school stadium.”
Indiana - 1
N/A - 1

Ryan Field is a nice little stadium, but on any given Saturday it can end up being more of a home atmosphere for the opponent.

Of B10 stadiums I've been to, I was most underwhelmed by Memorial Stadium (ILL) and Ross-Ade (Purdue).  This year I'll add Memorial Stadium (IU) to my list of stadiums visited, and most likely this list of underwhelming venues.

Memorial Stadium (IU) is miserable.  I once was visiting some buddies and we decided to grab some tickets for NU v. IU during the 3rd quarter of the game.  I sat in the front row for $10.  Worst B10 football game experience ever.

I think if I had gone to a game that wasn't pitting two 2-6 teams (2008) with a crowd of barely 40,000 on hand, I probably would have enjoyed the experience a bit more.  As it was, the stadium was 1/3 empty and the fans did little cheering outside of the student section and their chants.

I'm sure Ross-Ade was absolutely ROCKING for the 2004 game (in which Shazor decapitated Dorien Bryant).
