I'll probably tune in and listen at some point today since it is me and one other person in a conference room with laptops doing the coordination of evaluation teams for this part of the territory, so thanks for the heads up. That being said, I think they needed to put Hazell and Beckman back to back and then make that the lunch break but allow them to continue speaking all the same.

I applaud anyone who watches the entire coverage. I wait for the Michigan segments to be posted here and that's it for me.

I believe MGOBLUE.com is streaming Hoke's press conference live at 11:30am eastern.

Edit: nevermind... read the tweet wrong. its Big Ten Network.

Could have done without the Leaders and the Best quote. Hard to day that when we haven't won in 10 years. I'm sick of Hoke's rah rah shit. Win games or go back to SDSU

Well would you rather him say we have low expectations?  I mean, I understand where you're coming from -- we're all frustrated by the past few years -- but I don't think you can do well without first saying and thinking that you can.

Hoke is going to give them coach speak anyway, but damn.  They didn't even give him anything to sidestep.  And TWO questions about Peppers?  I love him too, but no one even asked about Gardner.  Other than the O-line question, there wasn't really anything about the players at all.

While I understand that most coaches at conference media days aren’t likely to reveal very much that’s new and noteworthy; I’d prefer to hear questioners who are prepared to ask questions and follow-up questions that could at least be expected to elicit a response that carries more than just coachspeak.

Many contributors to this board would have had  better questions for Brady Hoke.  Maybe I missed some, but I would’ve expected at least a few of these:

What did you see from a team-bonding perspective that came out of the “My Wish” recruiting experience with Stephen Loszewski that would make you believe that this Michigan team will be a more cohesive group than last year’s team?

What has Devin Gardner told you about his experience at the recent Manning Passing Academy; and does it say more about him as a leader that he got just as much praise for how he treated the campers as he did for his passing skills?  LINK

What made you decide to give the number two jersey to Blake Countess; and did you discuss your decision with Charles Woodson beforehand?

Which players showed you something during the summer that makes you believe that they’ll be more important contributors to this team than you thought they’d be when spring camp ended? And what have they shown to make you have that belief?

Has it helped that you didn’t take your seniors to train with the Navy Seals in California this summer?  Did your seniors devise anything to try to replicate that experience?  If so, what did they do, and what has the reaction been to how that other experience went?

How has the competition been going to replace your long snapper, your holder and your placekicker?  And which players do you expect to earn those jobs?

Who are the five starters on the offensive line as of now? (Besides saying that we’ll go with the people that came out of spring camp as the starters.)

All I did was suggest some questions for which I would've liked to hear answers.

I've become used to negative criticism on this board, so I have to respect your opinion without downvoting your response. Inquiring minds might want to read the questions you would've asked of Brady Hoke.

Anyone else get a little awkward when Edsall's q&a period opened up?  I just turned this on, and I hope that the reporters are being a little more enthusiastic with the other coaches.
