It's actually 1-4pm on ESPNU
Thanks!
I'll probably tune in and listen at some point today since it is me and one other person in a conference room with laptops doing the coordination of evaluation teams for this part of the territory, so thanks for the heads up. That being said, I think they needed to put Hazell and Beckman back to back and then make that the lunch break but allow them to continue speaking all the same.
Coach Beckman says Chicago is a state. The media asked him how important it is to recruit Chicago. he responded how it is very important to recurit the state of Chicago and the state of Illinois. (I hope our coach shows well)
In his defense, it seems like the city of Chicago thinks they are their own state and the rest of the state of Illinois wishes that was indeed the case...
Also in his defense, the rest of Illinois is absolutely NOTHING like the Chicago area. Especially the southern part of Illinois :-(
When Howard Schnellenberger was building the 'Canes he referred to So. FL as, "the State of Miami."
Can't wait to hear some football talk!
Interesting that UM, MSU, and OSU are the only teams given 30 minutes.
Huh. Didn't even notice that the first time. That is interesting.
Since the above-posted schedule has no end time listed, there's no telling how long Iowa will go. They obviously gave Ferentz the open inning so his charisma can shine for hours.
I'm pretty sure that half hour includes a 15 minute break. All teams get the same time.
break that allows for more Q@A for those who don't want to take a break.
SEC media day = TMZ
B1G media day = local news
Excited for the potential those 3 players possess for the upcoming season too.
I applaud anyone who watches the entire coverage. I wait for the Michigan segments to be posted here and that's it for me.
I believe MGOBLUE.com is streaming Hoke's press conference live at 11:30am eastern.
Edit: nevermind... read the tweet wrong. its Big Ten Network.
It means that fall camp is right around the corner and the season is almost here. Starting to get excited!
Here's an article where Gene Smith talks BIG expansion if anyone is interested. He expects another round in 5-6 years.

umm... at the B1G media days. Bringing it strong! Check out BTN.
a 1200 baud modem. 20 minutes and still loading.
Could have done without the Leaders and the Best quote. Hard to day that when we haven't won in 10 years. I'm sick of Hoke's rah rah shit. Win games or go back to SDSU
Still upset about being enrolled in the 'Jelly of the month club', eh Clark?
Well would you rather him say we have low expectations? I mean, I understand where you're coming from -- we're all frustrated by the past few years -- but I don't think you can do well without first saying and thinking that you can.
You deserve better, eh?
a Sugar Bowl championship at Michigan.
Hopefully he's taken on a leadership role with the front line of the defense.
Unlike years past, Dave Brandon is not standing near stage while Hoke speaks. Perhaps related to his comments in @bobwojnowski 's interview
I wonder what Bacon will do with himself when Brandon's no longer Michigan's AD.
He'll probably write a book. I think he did one before Brandon took over.
who made the decision to let paisley come back?
These questions are so bad.
Hoke is going to give them coach speak anyway, but damn. They didn't even give him anything to sidestep. And TWO questions about Peppers? I love him too, but no one even asked about Gardner. Other than the O-line question, there wasn't really anything about the players at all.
WHEN HE'S ACTUALLY DONE SOMETHING, ANGELIQUE!
Everybody loves Angelique, but that might have been the worst question.
Screen shot this. It's happening.
lol! ^^^
With all due respect, these questions aren't great either, except for maybe the spring contributors and offensive line question.
All I did was suggest some questions for which I would've liked to hear answers.
I've become used to negative criticism on this board, so I have to respect your opinion without downvoting your response. Inquiring minds might want to read the questions you would've asked of Brady Hoke.
don't worry, i downvoted for you
Anyone else get a little awkward when Edsall's q&a period opened up? I just turned this on, and I hope that the reporters are being a little more enthusiastic with the other coaches.
In case you were wondering Pelini confirms cat did make road trip to Chicago. Sleeping in hotel room.
#TheImportantThings
the most useful and interesting information to have come out of the pressers.
James Franklin is a pretty solid speaker
That'll teach you to say nice things. I didn't watch so I can't agree or disagree. But here's a +1 for you to help negate the -3. Can't say you said anything offensive to deserve that.
