BlueGoM you know why we lost to Nebraska. We didn't have a backup quarterback at the time.
Big Ten Championship Game Open Thread
Karma combined with older karma. Remember the 90's when Nebraska would run up the score on every team they played?
I hope Wisconsin just keeps on scoring.
I love your work.
Now upgrade your equipment to HD and keep pumping out those videos!
"Bielema isn't backing off. He'll hang a hundred on them if he has the chance. That's his nature".
Even the color guy thinks you're an asshat, Brett.
I don't have a problem with Wiscy putting 100 on Nebraska
Neither do I, but that doesn't change the fact that Bielema's an unsavory specimen
Before halftime, I told my wife that there are two halves to the game and Nebraska had a big comeback before. My wife replied that there's not enough halves for Nebraska to come back.

At least I watched the SEC championship game. This B1G game is an embarrassment of the first order.
To have an 8-5 team reprsesent the conference is sad.
This is oddly reminiscent of the meltdown they enacted against Michigan last year. I wonder if Martinez will complain if M goes to a better bowl after this...
The only way this game will ever be a sellout is if Michigan is playing Ohio.
Really Gus? Urban not only wins he crushes? Lets take a look at those scores shall we...
and let's ignore what happened at Florida after Tebow, Harvin and co. were gone
Holy hell he got lit up. Bring the TD back but welcome to sportscenter
Probably doesn't matter now but holy shit that was a great block
Good block, a little too good
EDIT: replay looked clean, I agree with the announcer, "that's just football"
Agree. Hope the kid is OK but no way was that a illegal hit.
I can see them letting it go but I dont know why the announcers are so upset like it wasnt at worst a borderline call.
No helmet to helmet contact, that was clean
Holy god that is the number one hit of all time. I hope he's ok.
Are we playing 2-hand touch yet? Seems we're going that way.
That call is BS.
I think Kenny Bell just killed a man.
Good block man's game
How the fuck is that unnecessary roughness? That is a TERRIBLE call. Something needs to be done about these roughing the passer, unnecessary roughness, and late hit calls because some of them are just ridiculous.
That block was insane. He got flagged for knocking the shit out of the Wisconsin guy, but I think it was clean.
Yes, a defenseless player who's about to turn your ballcarrier into carrion. Maybe the refs got sick of gifting Nebraska games.
If that was the right call, then that rule is complete bullshit. That was a hit with the shoulder, in the front...wtf was he supposed to do? Let him make the tackle?? Fucking awful. Disgusting. This isn't football.
Really peeved that was called a penalty, one of the best blocks in all of FBS this year. WOW.
Not gonna lie, that was a good call. We can argue the fact whether that should be a penalty, but he launched himself into the guy's head who didn't see him. That is a penalty.
Oh spare me. Go play baseball if you don't want to make contact. His feet were on the ground. Maybe he should just hug him, pat his ass, and ask him to please not tackle.
Great logic! "You should be able to make a left turn here so I don't deserve the ticket". My father in law uses that logic all the time.
"that was a good call. We can argue the fact whether that should be a penalty, but he launched himself into the guy's head who didn't see him. That is a penalty"
What in God's name are you talking about? He hit him in the damn shoulder, it was the DEFENDER'S fault he didn't have his head turned to look for blockers, that should NOT be a penalty.
You are the reason for participation awards you poofter.
You my friend truly have the gift for debate.
Extrapolate someone's whole life based on two sentences? Check.
Use gay slur to insult someone? Check.
Your in the minority buddy, yes it is a penalty but I think lost here think they've gotten a lil excessive in the protecting the players penalties. What's he supposed to do? Set a basketball screen? If he hits him in the chest it's prob worse. The whiplash could've broken his neck.
I agree. But the point I've been trying to make is that it's still illegal. Both players had their head up, so I don't think it should be a penalty. But the rules makers disagree and going high on a player is now a penalty. Thus, that was a good call.
That was shoulder to shoulder. Not even close
Doesn't matter. He launched himself high on another player. You're going to get a flag for that with the new emphasis on player safety. I don't necessarily agree with it, but arguing it shouldn't get a flag because the rule is stupid is equally stupid logic. As the rules are currently enforced, it was a good call.
Your post said 'helmet to helmet'. My point was that was completely wrong.
Did the shoulder hit first. Yes. Did the helmets hit as well? To me they did. But I can also see the arguement net that any helmet contact was incidental to the initial hit. Either way, I still believe the hit is illegal under the current rules.
Didn't come close to hitting him in the head. Watch the replay again.
That was one hell of a block. Don't know about the penalty but he might have launched himself a bit in throwing the block and it isn't Nebraska's night.
What the actual fuck? Just looked up the score on ESPN
NOT helmet to helmet. Shoulder to shoulder all the way.
Is this even football we're watching anymore? Can we just institute a "You hit him too hard rule"? Everything about this game is a goddamn embarassment to the Big Ten and I'm sick and tired of this garbage. We're taking Maryland and Rutgers. Rutgers for godsakes! A damn commuter school in some crap town in New Jersey. Ruining the brand to bring in more money to throw at women's gymnastics or whatever the hell they're building after a damned $50 million dollar rowing facility. Get a damn Nautilus, that's all that "sport" is anyways. I can't stand this "football" anymore. Sickening.
"Can we just institute a "You hit him too hard rule"?"
You just saw it called.
You really need to get that sand out of your vagina
I would fully support spending $50 million to build the Nautilus.
Big Ten might legitimately end the bowl season 0-7.
We're going to be overmatched in every game.
Minnesota and Purdue are going to get crushed by whoever they play in their bowl.
Big Ten teams are going to end up facing SEC teams in the Capitol One, Outback and Gator Bowls that all have BCS credentials.
Sports Illustrated has MSU facing TCU. That might be the only realistic shot at victory the Big Ten has this season.
Calm down a little.
Overmatched is a bit excessive.
