Big Ten Championship Game Open Thread

Nebraska-Wisconsin. 8:00PM EST on FOX. Gus Johnson and Charles Davis are calling the game.

Various sources have the line in favor of Nebraska by 3. If Nebraska wins, Michigan is all but assured the Capital One Citrus Bowl against A&M (likely) or Georgia, while the conversation is a bit more complicated if Wisconsin wins.

So when does Wisconsin start running up the middle every play, like 25 times in a row? Some part of me wants to see that happen to someone else. The other part of me died inside for bringing it up :(

I loved to watch the Pac 12 Championship as a home game for Stanford.  Let's please do this for our Championship Game as well.

Meanwhile LOL what a run.

We fricken blew the B1G title this year, ours for the taking, this just sucks, we haven't won the B1G in a long time. This conference blows, we should have been there. Did Nebraska send their jv team? Bunch of quitters, embarrassing for B1G

The most frustrating part about watching this game is I feel like we should beat both teams on a neutral site.  I know we haven't played well away from home, but this was a golden opportunity at a B1G championship.

Cornnation is reloading for the second half:

I predict less participation and more F-bombs....and no follow up to the promise for photos of the completed sandwiches.

Runza Sandwiches (before cooking)

Filling.

Rising.

I’ll post finished sandwiches at halftime.

Why do coaches wait to unveil this stuff?

I can understand wanting to use these plays in a big game but Michigan normally doesn't "open up the playbook" on the big stage.

The runs up the middle against OSU is one classic example. So many times to count though in games that mattered, Michigan didn't have plays that were meant to throw off the opposition.

This is reminiscent of W.Virginia/Clemson last year.  If K-State can come back and beat Texas this gives N.Illinois a shot at the Orange Bowl.

Nebraska is always going to get gashed by a good run game.  Hell, if we had even had a medicore run game (minus Denard) we would've rolled them this year.
