because the learning curve of development is much greater from freshman and sophomore as opposed to Junior and Senior. Canteen is what he is at this point. If you think Harbaugh can just coach them up into a much better player in a year, you'll be disappointed.

Who else feels really old seeing these guys having "senior" as their class?

I remember the Hello posts on these guys like they were yesterday.

One thing that has been on my mind this time round on my birthday is that, yeah, I find myself doing considerably less agonizing about this now that I am in fact slowly getting old. When he mentioned that he would be only 32 when the Nike deal was up for renewal, I could only sigh as that age is already in the rear view mirror right now.

Michigan is the only school who won't have a previous All-B1G player repping it at league media days. Zero players on Michigans current roster have earned All-B1G honors. That is insane!

Just reading that statement made me nautious. It's a clear reminder of where we're at as a program. It's also making me temper my expectations. I really had this gut feeling that this was the breakout year for the program and all that stockpiled, underutilized talent on the team. Now I feel more 8-5 vs. 10-3.

But those guys are usually the more well-spoken, level-headed, tempered players, and sometimes being taken to media days is a "thank you" for hard work, contributions to the program, etc.  Georgia took Gurley last season to SECMD, but that was probably because they knew he wouldn't be back in 2015, so they took him while they had him.

Joe, Jehu, James - See the weasly guy with the wireframed glasses and the dark hair?  Kind of balding.  His name is Michael Rosenberg.  Don't talk with him.

Oh, and guys?  Don't talk to the guy under the tablecloth.  Yeah, the one with his head atop Rosenberg's lap.  That's Mark Snyder, and he's not trustworthy either.

The same Bolden who planted a stake in the ground and then got his ass kicked, yeah...exactly who I want to speak on our programs behalf....
