I don't know about you all, but I'm terribly excited to find out what the big news is supposed to be.  Any intel on when its supposed to happen?

I'm sorry, but I just don't see a kid who has yet to sign a letter of intent or is not yet in any way officially affiliated with the University of Michigan making any sort of announcement concering UM facilities, game schedules, or any matters that you would generally hear about from DB or Hoke directly.

In all likelihood, it probably has to do with with having a recruits/commits only get together later on in the process.

Wonder if it is related to Alvarez's announcement about the FBS scheduling...ie that it will have to do with us scheduling some stud teams for non-conference games.

Most seem to think Berger is all OSU. OSU is after much higher regarded (at least by rankings) LBs in McMillan from GA, Clifton Garrett, and Booker from OH.

Maybe if Michigan gives a hard push and Berger doesn't like not being at the top of OSU's board, they could make up some ground.

Kyle Berger definitely has an OSU offer and some who claim to have solid sources claim that Berger is 100% OSU.

I was simply pointing out that OSU is also hard after 3 other LBs who recruiting services currently have much higher. Ohio State fans seem to place them in the order of McMillan, Garrett, Booker, Berger, but some say that Berger may be higher than Booker because Booker may grow into a DE. But hey, Berger seems to not have gotten much of a look from recruiting sites yet so who knows where he will end up.

I was just observing that OSU has a smaller class next year and was wondering if something  could change with Berger if OSU manged to get McMillan, Garrett, and Booker.

Not sure why an obvious satirical envisage was dubbed "flamebait"? Did I really need to put the silly s/ thing? This coupled with the "Proper Post Critics" are a bit much. If you are really that important/busy that you just dont have the time to open a post only to find out it didn't contain exactly what you supposed then how do you have the time to post critique after critique. Too many "geeks" on the site? There is a negative correlation between IT knowledge and football IQ--just sayin. BTW, this post was made golden when minutes AFTER I found out Woodson was released.  After being released from the Greenbay Packers, Charles Woodson has decided to coach the secondary for the University of Michigan.

Technically, yes he does. He would though have to convince the NCAA to sign a waiver disregarding his pro athletic career and any income that he might have had because of his athletic ability. Also, since his 5 year window has closed he would have to receive an extension to that. Hey, the way the NCAA is operating, anything's possible.

Ferns said on twitter it has nothing to do with jerseys or the big house, he also stated if you get #project135 trending in twitter he will give a hint, if not 5 or 6. I think this ways blown way out of proportion, it looks nothing more then a recruiting tool. hope it works

I have a good idea of what is happening, but I don't want to ruin any of the surprise.  It won't be too big of a big "shock" to most...

announcement supposed to occur around 3 today? Where is the big news? If Ferns is up to 6'3 and 240 with top-tier speed at LB, that's better news than 95% of the guesses in this thread.
