Looks like practice to me.  Also, looks like awesome...

[EDIT] I guess I was wrong... they looked like they were all being too friendly for this to be a game, but it would appear someone just got done with a power play... and has returned to full strength.

Also, nice save on a puck through the crease by the goalie for the team in the lighter colored jerseys.

I think it's practice.  They practiced Monday from about 3:15-4:15.  Yesterday they were out about the same time, too, doing drills and then it looked like they were playing a game, and then more drills.

but how does this Michigan Hockey/ Big Chill thread pertain to Meyer retiring and coming here for the inevitable Coaching Change/Swap of RR.  Try to stay on topic, or label this OT so I don't have to waste time on a non CC thread.

Thanks for the link.  Ice looks great, and weather calls for high of 34.  The ice conditions should match the Arena in perfectness.  Can't wait til Saturday. Go Blue!

Edit: Looking at it more, it will be fun to watch the game with the yard markers just to see, in comparison to the football, how fast they are really moving.

Really really fast. The fastest skaters out there will get to ~25mph. If you take that down, its a 3.27 40yd. Considering Denard=Dilithium at ~4.3, that's really quick.

I'm nowhere near a Michigan quality hockey player and I'm thinking I'll leave after open skate on Sunday saying I was faster than Denard at the Big House...with a fair bit of cheating going on.
