No meteors seem in the forecast in the greater Indiana area per NASA, so we'll be forced to watch our top 2 competitors in the East face off.  Short of a 25+ pt blowout MSU is destined for the Rose, OSU is playing for the right to give up 60 pts to Florida State.

More Gus brilliance: he mentioned when Ohio punted last time that "Dantonio's gamble didn't hurt them."   But it did: it turned field position totally in Ohio's favor.  And now that blocked punt exacerbates the issue.

This is such an Ohio game. I cannot even guess how many breaks they have gotten in so many games over recent years. I wish we had their luck.

Short of the meteor strike,

I HOPE Sparty wins narrowly, then both teams win big in their non NC bowl games.

 

I think that gives us the closest thing to the best of both worlds: no OSU title, but some Big Ten prestige.

I totally appreciate the sentiment.

 

I just think that it would be better for Michigan to say to recruits, come to Michigan and play in the Big Ten, where we roll over other conferences when given the opportunity to go head to head...

... but don't go to Ohio or State, because they only win douchebag bowls.
