Big 10 Championship Game Open Thread

No meteors seem in the forecast in the greater Indiana area per NASA, so we'll be forced to watch our top 2 competitors in the East face off.  Short of a 25+ pt blowout MSU is destined for the Rose, OSU is playing for the right to give up 60 pts to Florida State.

Have at it....

LOL

This game is over. Sparty got cocky and now they are paying for it. I'll bet ohio wins by two TDs.

don't forget that they have 2 redshirt sophomores on the starting depth chart. One on the DL and the other in the secondary. The other 9 are juniors, redshirt juniors, or seniors. Let that sink in compared to our D this year.

And the top 10 defense of 2012? And the top 10 defense of 2011?  The one that had many of these seniors starting as sophomores or in key roles?  Cmon man UM has 7 upperclassmen starting... we dont have the "youth excuse" anywhere but 1 safety (Wilson), 1 LB (Ross), and 1 end (Heitzman) - we have younger guys in backup roles like every team in college football.  Youth is not an excuse for UM defense.

That's run blocking for you....rushes of 18, 6, 24, 3 and 8 yards with a pass in there to boot with the result being a TD. Nice little drive indeed, I will give Meyer & Co. that anyway. The consequence here is that Michigan State is only 32 yards from giving up 300 yards, which for them would be rarely traversed territory.

Lost in awe of FSU offense is a top 5 defense.  They have won like 4 conf games not by 10, not by 20, but by 30.   And not junk teams...teams like Clemson.

I think FSU would have beaten Alabama so its going to be a shame if OSU goes because then the SEC will say FSU did not beat a SEC team blah blah.  Or if OSU loses today they will say you played Auburn not Alabama blah blah

Like I said...game over. Ohio has all of the momentum now. Sparty does not have the offense to beat a good enough Ohio defense.
