BG Update

Submitted by Gameday on

As an Eagles fan in Philadelphia I've been following a good deal of their training camp and watching most of the practice videos online and  I just wanted to give you all a quick update on Brandon Graham. He basically has been dominating anyone who tries to block him. Almost every recent article I've read pertaining to the Eagles camp has mentioned something about how impressive BG has been. Hugh Douglas (who obviously was a pretty damn good D End himself) said on one of the local radio stations this morning that Graham might have the quickest first step off the ball he's ever seen. He said he reminds him a lot of Dwight Freeney. Trent Cole was also saying how he pretty much thinks he's going to be a beast in the NFL and that those two are going to be giving QB's nightmares because they won't be able to double both of them. Just figured I'd share.

This kid has been nothing but dominant, especially since the start of his senior year.  The perfect attitude, BG deserves all he's getting.  That one interview cracked me up, he says he's up to 278 and going to get down for the season.  That's a lot of weight to be carrying around at his height and a lot of speed for that weight.  Can't wait for him to rip up the league as soon as he steps on the field!

but I'm going to be rooting for the other guys when it comes to QB sacks.

But I have a big issue with the NFL schedulers.  On Sept. 2, the Giants are playing  BG at the same time that the Jets are playing Zoltan!

My only problem is do i cheer when he sacks my teams quarterback or just give a slight grin nodding my head in expectation.

As a Cowboy fan this is very sad. But, I'm pumped to watch him destroy. I love Woodley. BG has a better place in my heart because he WAS that defense. He made big plays when we needed him. Although we haven't been very good he still talks about Michigan as much as possible. He's a true Michigan Man.

I'll never forget the young BG dominating at the end of the PSU game in what if I remember correctly was his sophomore season. From that point forward he stayed the course, put in the hard work, said all the right things and really lived up to his potential as a college player. Now it sounds like he'll do the same in the NFL. Can't wait to watch it.
