I say based solely on play not who you play for the Heisman should go to Toby Gerhart. He has better numbers across the board than Ingram. Plus, Colt McCoy and Tebow have pretty bad numbers compared to last year.

I don't really have an opinion on who should win this year (haven't seen many of the candidates in action), but even if Colt McCoy has worse stats than last year, he could still easily be Heisman-worthy. His and Bradford's stats last year were preposterous and both certainly deserving of the award. McCoy would probably be the run-away favorite if he didn't put up such outlandish numbers last season. He's a great QB with great numbers on an undefeated team. At the end of the season his stats will be comparable to Troy Smith, Matt Leinart, Jason White, Carson Palmer, and other past QB winners.

I would love to see tebow get it just so an ohio state player isn't the only player to win 2. does he deserve it, no. are there a lot of people i would love to talk shit to if it happens, yes

Thats great, now I know who to talk to to get the collective opinion of every U of M fan. Glad you set me straight on what is important to Michigan and what is not. But just so you know, there might be some dissent in your ranks. I have overheard, from insider sources I can't name obviously, that more than a few of the people you speak for want tebow to win just for that reason. I figured I'd let you know now so you could nip it in the bud before it got out of hand.

I would have liked to see McCoy win one, but his stats are down this year. He did have a nice game yesterday, though. I'm sure he would take a National Championship as a "consolation prize," though.

Tebow winning this year would be a total affront that what that award is supposed to recognize. Considering that, McCoy's relatively down stats, and Ingrham getting stifled by Auburn, I would not at all be surprised to see Gerhart get the Hesiman.
