Better stadium experience

Submitted by Canadian on
I haven't seen anything noting the improvements made in the stadium. I for one noticed a few small details that actually made my day better
1) the biggest improvement for me was the NCAA scoreboard scrolling through the games across the country all game long on the scoreboards. I absolutely love this as now I can kind of keep in touch when I'm over at a game.
2) my cell service was pretty excellent all game. Was able to send and receive texts without the difficulty I had noticed in past
3) improvements at the concessions. I only got a pretzel but they were a lot bigger and way better than in years past.

What say you guys??

Were the biggest plus. Cell coverage was better but still spotty. I had a couple work emails come through so almost wish it was still terrible.
Concessions seemed to be about the same. Noticed a lot of people mentioning the ketchup was really watery at all the condiment stations near section 40-42...anyone else notice this? Wondering if someone is tampering with it or Dave is trying to save a few bucks on ketchup.

To add on to this thread I'd just like to say that the game today was near perfect. Besides a lot of kinks that have bothered us the last few years, the crowd was reasonably loud and into the game for a noon game and lesser opponent. That is what it should be like every game and makes it a better experience in my opinion.

I was driving across the state during the game and got to listen to most of the game on the radio.  I never really liked Dierdorf when he was doing NFL games.  However, I thought he did a pretty good job today.  It seemed like he was very comfortable being a homer with perhaps a little more freedom to speak his mind than he had during NFL games  There were a few times when the game was pretty much out of reach that the banter got a little too cute.  All in all, I think their debut was solid.

I sit in the outdoor club seats and there was a crazy echo effect with the sound system. It got better but was never totally fixed. There was a noticeable delay in the audio from the north end zone that caused the echo. Scoreboard was much better and my cell phone service was the best ever. Unfortunately, it allowed my daughter to blast me with texts about a problem at home. It was nice to actually be able to get score updates on the ESPN app during breaks in play.

that they didn't do Sweet Caroline or that Journey song. I commented about how much I dislike it in the post season ticket holder survey, so clearly I am influential within the AD.
