Best way to tell CBS they are Morons? Should we email Les Moonves?
Anyone have an email (personal or general) or twitter account for someone at CBS who has influence over the coverage map on Sat? Someone there must be rational and possess a modicum of common logic - you think? I'll even take the case to Les Moonves!
Charlie Sheen agrees with you...and who are we to argue with a guy who lives with two women.
So why would I want to live with two?
... I'm half as nutty as Charlie Sheen. I'm not saying there is causation, but the correlation is pretty significant.
It has been noted by many sages over the years that bigamy is its own punishment.
...and has tigers blood.
I'll be in Florida for the game, I sure hope they have coverage of it or I'll be making some heads asplode.
If I remember correctly, South Florida will have the game. North Florida and you're stuck with Arizona's meaningless win over Oregon.
Alas, I will be on a plane to Texas during the game. But hey, if I bolt out of the airport to a TV, I can catch the ending of the Arizona game!!! *high five*
Woohoo for me, and not woohoo for you, what if you found a bar with satellite, might they have both cbs games broadcasting?
*fingers crossed*
pee in their butt
I read this several time just to be sure I read it right
to give meaning to the ramblings of a 3 year old. After reading many of this guys posts I am certain he is either 3 or less as his vocabulary consists almost exclusively of farts, butts and pee which are exactly the same favorite words my 4 two and a half years olds use.
Damn, I'm in NYC and won't be getting the game on CBS. Is there any other way to get the game on TV? Does anyone know whether the UM Club will be organizing a watching party or is there someplace else people will be going that has the game?
For anyone looking, here is the link of the coverage map: http://the506.com/sports/?p=1975
cbssports.com might stream it from their website. Not 100% on that but remember seeing something to that effect on their website yesterday.

The information is available on the official Michigan website.

Edit: thanks for posting the coverage map. Hopefully its on CBS.com
Per Dylan @UMHoops' twitter account, the game will be on CBS.com
I'm in Connecticut and this really sucks. Oregon-Arizona? Huh?
CBSSports.com is streaming the game live: http://www.cbssports.com/video/player/cbk-live?ttag=cbklive10_on_all_fb…
I get that you can still watch it on the computer. But personally, I would rather watch it on my 60" HD LED with surround sound than hunched over my stupid laptop.
So, I am ok with his complaining. I hate when big games are "regionally" telivised without any rollover chanels. It fails to recognize that college sports are national - i.e. the alumni and fan bases of most large scale colleges are not confined tothe immediate geographic region around the university (think of the huge NY contingent of M alum). Say what you want about the B10 network, but on most cable plans, they have 3-4 rollover chanels, so you can always get the game.
I just don't get the New York thing at all. There are certainly more Michigan alums in NY than Arizona or Oregon combined. I get that Arizona is ranked and neither Mich or MSU are, but they should be trying to appeal to the largest amount of viewers possible. Given that we have the largest Alumni base in the world, I don't see why we shouldn't voice our opinions. They will hear us. Just like the ESPN guy who kept getting bombarded with questions of why we weren't in his Bracket. Strength in numbers, my friends.
I guess all need to pitch in and get that University Club built in NYC that the alumni club was e-mailing about for people to gather for the game.
I didn't realize that there was an effort underway to try to build a NYC University of Michigan Club. When was this effort made, is it still ongoing and who is organizing?
Where have you been, dolt? I'm in charge and for a mere $6000.00 I'll send you a piece of ceiling tile from the old place we demolished, and a new blue rock from the new place (emblazoned with the Block M).
And you'll have a floor board named after yourself (We're doing mahogany laminate), and you'll have a guaranteed seat for every game if you get to the bar early enough.
Don't forget to send me SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS to get in on this great opportunity!
you have an LED TV? when did they start making those? also, if you can afford a 60" TV I'm sure you can afford a computer with HDMI out, then hook it into your TV. problem solved.
if you can afford a 60" LED TV you can DEFINITELY afford a computer with a solid video card.
This guy is full of shit and can barely afford a can and a string for a phone.
Please god fix the board so this troll can be negged into Bolivian.

The fact that alumni (and other fans) are spread out across the country doesn't necessarily mean that interest in the game is "national". Almost certainly, anywhere you go that is not in the general vicinity of the university (or, at least the state), the number of non-fans will outnumber the number of alumni and fans. Even in the cities (like NYC) with heavy alumni concentrations. The fact that the game is a big game to Michigan fans, and means a lot for the tournament in general, does not mean that most people will care about this game.
I'm safe here in PA. I would suggest to all the NYC fans to take their girlfriend/wife on a ski trip to the poconos this weekend. Points with wife/girl & M vs MSU. To quote Charlie, "Winning".
That's definitely some bi-winning right there.
Guess I'll be trying my HDMI cable on my laptop.
/SoCal blows
CBS just sucks in general. Their announcers are awful and they are so far removed from the game and the kids who play it. I'm sick and tired of Verne's huge head with no neck!
I'm not a big sign guy, but feel free to steal this idea for Saturday:
Michgian is to Charlie Sheen as Michigan State is to CBS
WINNING
The oddest thing is how multiple markets are getting a PAC-10 game that is thousands of miles away instead of a Michigan MSU game. Even Baltimore is being pre-empted. It makes no sense at all.
Luckily the DC market is showing the game on CBS.
You can call directv and ask to get the Sports Pack subscription added to your plan. As long as you cancel it 31 days after you order it, it will only cost you between $5 and $11...why 31 days? if you cancel before a month you get charged an early cancellation fee ON TOP of the monthly fee.
Once you have that, you can watch the game in HD on channel 728 or 758 or something like that...basically all CBS regional games (like the ESP2/ABC mirror) are on this channel if your coverage map gives you the game you dont want, but only if you have sportspack.
I hope that made sense...order in next 90 minutes to be gauranteed game on by 2pm tomorrow. Only gaurantee 24 hour turnaround to activate.
GAHHHHH we are gonig to get some meaningless ACC game!!!
