Best UM Recruiting Class Ever?

Submitted by BILG on

Ok board, time for a little mental masturbation.  Who does Hoke need to land for this to be the best recruiting class ever...IE, since creepy adults started tracking the college interst of high school juniors and seniors on the internet.

Is this already the best class (yes, on paper before they ever play a game) in Michigan history?  Lloyd had a few top five classes, but Hoke is on track to pull in a top 3 class here.

My sense is if we pull in McQuay, Green, and Treadwell we are a lock for #1 and it would surely be the top class I could remember.  To all who questioned the Hoke hire, how foolish we feel now.

I love this class. But those saying we are already a lock for top 3 or 5 need to check out the other schools numbers. There are 6 or 7 schools that could pass us if we don't close well and they do. Including Ohio at an average recruit being 4 flat to our 3.7, or PSU doing surprisingly well considering recent events at around 3.82(can't remember exactly but it was in that ballpark) USC is putting together a crazy class. I love what we're getting, precisely what we need a deep talented bunch to spread some talent around. But we have to keep it in perspective. Having our class almost finished means others will gain ground on us and others are putting together great classes too. If we finish weak and end up 6th I'm still happy with what we have.

Any class with Charles Woodson is automatically the best class ever. Fact. After that, this will be our highest rated average of the Rivals era.

I still think we need to land two out of four on Mathis, Treadwell, Mcquay, or Green. Mcquay, TReadwell, and Green would most definately solidify the best of all time. If we got all four other teams would just stop trying and cry.
