Best Rows for leg room at the big house

Submitted by preed1 on

I am 6 7' and everytime Im at the big house I hit the guy in front of me with my knee ( I always apologize).  What rows have the most leg room?  Also what row is it when you enter into the stadium?

Pretty much anything in sections 26-31 will provide ample leg room.  And by ample I mean you won't even be able to stand on your seat without facing sideways.

More serious though, the only seats that will help you out are going to cost many $$$.  If you can afford it, I would look into getting club seats.

My sophomore year (2002) our student tickets were actually in that last row (97).  There are no seats, only numbers painted on the wall.  I'm not sure if they sell these all the way around the stadium, or just in the student section though.

They were awesome seats to watch the Brabbs kick against Washington from, but terrible seats to have during the windy, rainy loss to Iowa.

Section 6 Row 73, I have probably double the leg room of any other row I've been in.  This is the last cement row before the steel addition in section 6.  I was pleasantly surprised and it was the first thing I noticed after finding my seats.

But then you sacrifice being able to 'see' the game. I really like sitting/ standing higher up and watch the plays develop. Coaches have always impressed me by being able to tell what is going on from the sidelines.

But there are shiny new club level seats that should have plenty of leg room...anyone comment on these?

everyone stands up all game so you don't have to worry about leg room.

Or seats in the luxury boxes probably have some great leg room. You'll have to wait till after I win the lotto to try them out though.

for the U Conn game.

LOTS of leg room.  (Alas - still no keg room)

Plan to go with a handicapped friend - you have unlimited room and nicer (fold up card table type) seats.  And your friend will have a blast.

Get tickets for either the student section of the top so you can stand up and cheer your heart out the whole game.  Doing so anywhere else would almost assure you getting hastled by those that can't see over you

I am very fortunate to have seats in the West Side Chairbacks.  The first row (85) of this section has the most leg room I've seen.  A VERY nice bonus.
