Best place to watch the game on the Vegas Strip?

Submitted by HELLE on
I'm looking for some help here. I'll be on the Vegas Strip for the Utah Game and I'm looking for the best spot to watch it with sound. I'm concerned NFL Preseason will take priority in most of the sports books and bars. I checked the Southern Nevada Alumni Association's Facebook page, but it didn't have any information. I'm sure The D will have the sound on, though we would prefer to stay on the Strip. Any advice would be great. Thanks. Go Blue!

I've watched Monday Night football at Mandalay Bay's sportsbook and it was decent spot.  It wasn't packed, but the service was slow.  And... the cigar smoke, but you'll get that anywhere on the strip.  I'm an ex-smoker so it wasn't awful, but just a reminder of why I quit.  I can't for the life of me remember if they had sound, but I'm almost positive they did or I wouldn't have stayed.  The screen is large and in charge though +++

I sit on the Chicago alumni board -- just checked the local club's page and it doesn't show much info either (at least on mobile). But they list an email -- contact them at [email protected]. Every local club always coordinates sponsor/partner bars. Best bet would be to check in with them!

From the hot tub in your presidential suite.  As a plus, you can promise your significant other you'll demonstrate what the announcers are talking about each time they mention Michigan's submarine.

It depends on where you are staying and what you want.

If you are at city center, the Aria is a great place to camp.

If you want sports book viewing, go to Wynn, Mandalay, or Ceasers.

Any venue will comply to your request to tune in to the opener.

Sportsbook at Mandalay has big comfortable chairs, lots of huge screens and beer.  Thats where Id watch it.

I'm a member of the local club. They haven't posted where they are watching the game yet. I think they did Putters on Rainbow a lot last year. If you are at Mandalay you might want to go south a little to Town Square and watch it at Miller's Ale House. If I see something from the club I'll post it back in this thread. I'd think about going but I'll be in Utah.

I personally think that the mirage is quite underrated. I found it to be more comfortable: they play a wide variety of games, their chairs are extremely comfy, and they will comply with your request for a specific game. Have fun in Vegas!

Mandalay Bay is decent but it's off at the end of the strip. The MGM Grand has a better book and is linked by shuttle/same company. Caesars has a good book as does Bellagio and the Mirage.
