No way you can keep pulling off stuff like that and not win it eventually...

i think KSU finally puts it away. Crawford is having one of the best clutch performances I've seen in a LONG time.

who cares who wins, this is awesome. and damnit crawford! why couldn't you stay home and play for the maize and blue?!?
at least X is in the better part of Ohio (i.e. not Columbus). Plus it makes sense due to X's tournament history (3 Sweet 16s in a row). Definitely not a mid-major.

This has been so fucking ridiculous.
This game is strikingly similar to the Wake Forest vs West Virginia game four years ago. Except for the fact that 3 guys on the floor put up Gansey-esque performances!

KSU has been riding Kelly's FT-line jumper for a while now. Interesting to see how they do with him hurt. Missing two free throws can't help.

Is there really a loser in a game like this? Neither team should hang their heads! Jordan Crawford is SICK!

a moral victory and a bus ticket will also get you to indianapolis i suppose, but i don't think the loser in this game is going to appreciate that one too much.

This game is unbelievable. Quite a few clutch shots from Xavier.

Is my hair. I told my wife to have KSU go deeper, and told my best friend not to do his usually Xavier 2 rounds too far, and a stupid foul call is making me lose it.
They should just have a half court shooting contest to decide it at this point.

I have adopted this team.

Agreed. Let's start drawing lines people.

it is right now, but it should've been over in regulation if the official had made the right call.
March 26th, 2010 at 12:25 AM ^
I wish I was actually rooting for someone here but my bracket is so fucked I don't have either one advancing, so im just going to enjoy the game.

Fantastic game. I need KSU to win this for my bracket, and they should have won with that absurd no-call at the end of regulation. I think they pull it out.

goodnight

KSU had to scare me for a bit longer, but they pulled her out!

XU-Butler would have been a great story, plus with all of the comebacks, an X win would have been cool.
I have always liked Xavier. Our high school hockey team played their junior team back in 2007. I have always liked the fact they have a been a quiet under the radar team. They are one of the few colleges next to Ohio and Miami that I like in this state.
That was as exciting as it ever gets...as a Xavier student myself I am proud to say that Crawford absolutely represents the city in Detroit in every way, shape, and form (he always walks to and from class with his cap with the heralded old-English D and he is one hell of a player in the clutch). Chris Mack is an insanely good coach (this is his first year at X) and it wouldn't be surprising to see another great XU tournament next year. The state of Michigan is well represented in this team. GO MUSKIES!
